Ken,good to see both are turning it on.Huck will never be the same now he will start leading the pack from now on.I hope he learned not to get to close.
I`ve been hunting my Legend and Lou female I call her Lou II and she is a pretty nice young female i`m glad Angel is coming on for you.now all the pups in this litter is started. if Huck and Angel turnout that would be a good cross.You have some good blood Ken.

I want to Thank Don Wools and Lucas Barnett from St.James Mo.for making the long drive to hunt with Tree Daddy and Stinger.they took back a nice pup out of Tree Daddy and Ruby.(Ruby and Huck are litermates) I turned Tree Daddy three times he didn`t strike a track the first drop and came back in.the next two times I cut him he treed two singles and looked good doing it.I cut Stinger one drop and he treed one single quick and put on a real nice tree job.they were amazed with the big oaks we have.it was a pleasure taking Don and Lucas to the timber,I tried to make it as nice of hunting one could ask for.I think they both were spoiled with this flat land and the size of the timber here.Don has alot of knowlege of the blueticks and has hunted with a lot people.he knew about Grover and Dry Fork Cooter and many more of the hounds.everybody who knows me knows I like learning as much as I can about the hounds of yesteryear.Good Luck Guys with your hounds.

I`ve been busy here the last two nights and getting in late and just wore out to make a few drops.I`m gonna get out tonight and run a couple young hounds.my pups are looking good and I went and seen Jeremy`s pups they are looking good too.they just received thier first 5 way.so it won`t be long till their ready to go.

I seen some impressive work last night out of Tom Jennings young Image.He is 12 months and 6 days old and sure is the real deal like his daddy.we had a good hunt Tom squalled a coon down a tree about 4 four feet off the ground to my Lou II female and she really cranked it up on the tree.she is a littermate to Image.My pups are sure growing and are very good looking.they will receive their second 5 way today. check out Tom`s thread on his audio on Image.
I still have 2 females left out of Tree Daddy and Ruby.

Hi Matt, Those are some good looking pups! Fat and slick. I like that dark female with the spots. And where did that blue eye come from? I only had one blue eye from all the breeding I did with the Dandy blood- but I got one. Got some buckskin pups from the Dandy-Fly cross. Its in that old Diamond Jim blood. Finally saw some nice work last night from the Geronimo female that you sold Timmy. Pete has her now and she treed behind Kid last night and stayed with a coon. Treed on the next track too with Kid and Pearl-a den. And she is a Treedog. I knew that just never saw her sit those trees like she did last night. Pete was a happy man-Timmy will be sick . LoL. Thanks Billy,I know they love to eat and I may have them to fat but they look good.I`m glad she is coming around I knew she needed alot of attn.I knew she had it in her just need some time in the timber and some fur in her mouth.I hope to see you soon.I just came in from running Country and Lou II. I looked at three coon with Country and one with Lou II.I had one good walk,it was worth it seeing the bacon.
I want to thank Brent Carter for getting a pup from me.she sure was a good looking pup and I sure hope he has fun training her.Giood Luck with her.
I`ll be making a new post to move the other pups soon.

I`ve been busy here.I`ll try and return all the phone calls tuesday evening.I`m looking forward to our kill season.I want to put a couple good weeks on some of my females.I want to Thank everybody who is hunting hounds out of my line.I`m thinking of not breeding any of my females this time around I`m just not into rasing a bunch of pups.Powder is going out of heat.I`m planning on getting her in the timber.she was looking pretty good when she came into heat.its hard not breeding her to Tree Daddy.I still have two real nice females out of Tree Daddy and Ruby.

Good to see Billy Kooser and Kidd.Kidd sure sounded good tonight.Tom hunted Image one drop and he sure sounded good deep and with the meat.Thanks Tom and Billy for meeting up with us tonight.Billy your Pearl female sounded good on the tree to.
Ted Larger hunted his Smoke male out of Tree Daddy and Fly and King.King looked pretty good and the pup he is wired.I took Stinger and Lou II I thought they both did a pretty good job.thanks for the hunt Ted and Tom and Billy.until next time. LATER

Hi Matt, It was nice to hook up with you and Ted on Friday night. It was especially good to see ole Stinger on that tree. He is a tree dog thats for sure . Kid - Singers son- has alot of his traits especially in looks. Thanks for the compliments on Kid and Pearl. They did a nice job on that coon. Kid really did good both nights in Ohio. He is made for that country. As we treed coons Tom kept saying- these Matt Turner blueticks can tree them coons. He is right! I was really impressed with Image. What a super young dog. And of course Legend is always impressive. Take care now. Billy

Kidd can tree coon anywhere you drop him.He should work good here he was born a Buckeye.LOL
I`m glad we met up and made a few drops.Ted and I hunted all night Ol Stinger found himself under a few trees with coon in them.
Tom told me I better enjoy him and Tree Daddy or they would be gone before I knew it.I took Powder tonight she treed three coon and Stinger treed one.I have put 5 different hounds in the woods and all have done good for me.I really like my littermate to Image,she is acting good too.I`m only hunting her every other night.she is another good one.well 5:30 will before I know it.take care.

I`ve hunted everynight since season started we`ve knocked out 31 coon and thats only 1 out of every tree.not counting doubles and triples.Mosquito Creek Hounds have looked good when it was dry.were getting rain and when it qiits i`m sure tracking will be a little better for the younger ones. since season started I`ve turned loose with a total of 9 hounds that were bred or came from my kennel and I havent been dissapointed in the least.
I want to think Ted Larger for sticking in their and hunting hard this last week.Ted has a fire ball of a young male out of Tree Daddy and Fly he can fly on track.Ted calls him Smoke and I think with a few more coon knocked down to him he could be a good one.I`m gonna try and get up with Tom Jennings this week for a few drops well its time for me to catch up on some shut eye.

The Hounds have been looking good.Tom stopped in and we treed two single`s.It`s always a good time hunting with Tom.
we both were gutted I only had 2 hours of sleep and dozed off a couple times.Tom we`ll get out again soon.it will be nice to see Kidd and Legend do their thing.

Matt simetime it would be nice to see a picture of Powder doing her thing or a video. Like to hear what her mouth sounds like. If you lived closer Id like to hunt with her. My little female I have hear off Annie and my uncle Duanes Joker is really getting after coons when they hit the grounds. Been watching her get up on the trees smelling around. Good to see. Her limited time to the woods Im happy so far!

Bryan,she is a go hunting hound she`ll kick dirt in your face leaving.she is a good strike dog and an exceptional tree dog she has a double chop most of the time.she just went out of heat and is getting some time in the timber now.she has a real mouth on her.I`ll try to take my camera with me the next time I take her.shes not afraid of the dark and she loves to split tree.good luck with your Annie female.I know I`m liking Powder.I `m glad I bought her no second thoughts here.take care Bryan and good luck hunting.I seen their calling for some cold weather coming your way.

I just finished talking to Philp Whitley from Ky.he was reporting on his 6 month Tree Daddy male and female.he says both are nice and sure enough tree dogs.He is liking both real well.

Ted Larger and I knocked out 5 more last night and I think that put our total to 47 single coon.not to bad for some pot lickers.if we would learn how to shoot them out in the fog we would have saved some ammo.I have really enjoyed coon hunting this season.Thanks for the calls and I`m planning on getting some pup pictures up real soon of my mine and Jeremy`s pups.

Its almost 70 today. crazy weather its bad when your coon hunting in short sleve in nov.i`m not really complaining. dogs looked good after midnight.knocked 5 singles out and caught one on the ground.had one double.two dens a slick the first drop.I seen some good hound work.one drop I turned one hound one way and the other the oppsite direction both treed and had a coon.Big Country caught a big mean raskle and he was wore out time he was finished with him.the place I droped him is bad for coyotes and I thought they had him.Country has really turned into a nice hound not perfect but he suits me most of the time. were looking at rain tonight,so i don`t know how much i`ll be able to get after them again.until next time.

I just got back home from Ted Largers and we skinned out 9 more coon.Ted`s young hound King a littermate to Tom Jennings Legend sure did a nice job last night.it`s a good feeling to be the breeder and get to hunt with offspring of my hounds.I`m thinking about breeding Stinger to Fly again.this is a half brother sister cross both being off of Ellis Blue Jim semen.the last cross sure produced some nice hounds.The hounds off the last cross are top strike and fast track hounds.so we`ll wait to see if she takes and go from their.

I took last night off from hunting plenty of water the last two nights.we had a good Thanksgiving feast,Plenty of good food and family to be thankful for.
The hounds have been looking good. I`m planning on making the Stinger X Fly cross again.I wasn`t going to raise another litter but have had alot of interest in this cross.If your interested in one let me know.The mating will take place in the next few days.so were looking at four months from now.really the worst time to raise pups here with winter coming.I`m looking forward to getting in the timber again tonight.after slug deer week we will be getting some new places to turn the hounds loose.happy hunting to all.

I made the cross with Stinger and Fly last night.ten seconds and they were knotted.I`m excited about this cross again.my finger`s are crossed on getting pups from these two again.fly started from the very first time I turned her loose and I feel she will continue to reproduce her likiness with quick starting hounds.

Ted Largers nephew Jonathan came over for a hunt last night we treed 4 singles and three dens.we had a good hunt.Country has two war wounds with the coon he caught on the ground the other night both being on his front paw.I took Rebel last night he looked good.Rebel is out of Stinger and Chris Cadle`s ol Dixie female.she was Droop bred.I think he`ll make a good hound with some time in the timber.

Jonathan with Big Country and Myself with Stinger.Big Country is out of Stinger and has treed a big portion of these furs.

Ted with King and myself with Tree Daddy.King is out of Tree Daddy and King has treed his share and is a real layup hound and can push a track with the best of them.
Ted Larger has skinned all the coon and scraped and stretched more not shown.Ted works a full time job and layed in their and kept the furs in good shape.we ran out of room so we had to part with them after the picture`s was took.its been a good coon catching few weeks.alot of fun,even when Ted had to cross a channel with chest wader`s to get to King and Big Country.next time were getting a jon boat.LOL
