Rex, Somedays beagles look good, some days decent, and some days could'nt give them away. Will have to say with all these temperature changes and wind, tracking can change in 30 minutes from good to can't smell. Have hunted with other guys down by Bible Grove that competion hunt that claim they have pretty fair dogs and they do the same thing. Maybe my potlickers screw them up.

Thanks Rex, I did hear him talking to his friend about ammo prices. His friend reloads and offered to do some for him...not sure what one.

We were out 4 nights last wk and only got 1 coon. The dogs treed at least once every night, but usually in pines. Ruby was bugging to go earlier, but now she's sleeping on Chuck's lap.

Came home from the casino almost $30 ahead....better than nothing.
Before we left, Chuck told me goodbye and his plans for the day. IF your husband tells u he's going looking for beavers and u tell him not to fall in....u might go trapping together 😉

Went walkin' this evenin' & the yard dog kicked up 3 cock pheasants bout 150 yds from the house in a weed patch I never mowed last year,didn't know they were even 3 pheasants in the twp.

Ridge,i got buddy that shoots a lot and he reloads my 243's..he told me he can reload the 223's the cheapest of all the calibers he reloads..Alan the tracking has been the same coonhunting,we made two trees one with a coon and one without last night ,we struggled on track ,boo whoed around for 45 min.s on the first track and 30 min.s on the second .maybe it aint the weather maybe its my dog.lol..

i don't think it will amout to much here the way the local news is saying weather channel is calling for 1-3 tommoro but the temp is suppose to get up to 34 my snow buddy can make a dusting into a blizard lol

Nasty here today. I thought Chuck was going to check out a beaver dam so I started cleaning (not my favorite thing). He came in and wanted me to go set some coyote traps with him. Worked out a deal, if he helped clean, I'd go. I was froze before we got the second trap set. It was raining on the way down, then turned into sleet for the first 2 traps and snowed while we set the last 2. The sets look picture perfect, hope we catch something.

I forgot to ask Chuck about what his friend offered to reload. Now that he wants to get some coyote and beaver traps set, I think he's put the call on hold.

It looked like a blizzard here this Am, so I went back to bed instead of cking traps. Chuck said the main rds weren't plowed and he had the Jeep in 4 wheel drive the whole drive, about 20 miles. But the trip was worth it....we had a 31# female coyote in one of our traps!!! We used all dry dirt and deer scraps for bait.
Rex, his friend told him if he got a 22/250, he could reload for him.

my snow buddy thought we had a blizzard call me at 3am this moronin to help him it didn't snow enough to cover the grass roads were dry for the most part but he want to do all the dr offices and the motel then help him till 3;30 this evening at his house im tuckered out
