Hey Jim,
My PM box has been smoking.I sent the papers out tuesday before thanksgiving.Thanks for the comments on the pics.we`ve seen some good hound work.I`ve been in the woods with 11 different Mosquito Creek Hounds all doing good except 1 and she hasn`t been hunted much.

Ken,I will put ya down for two males.I sure hope she has a nice litter.these should be exceptional bear hounds.I would like to see more females bred to Stinger he has produced many nice hounds.

Bryan,she treed a few of these coon.I didn`t have enough hands.we had to have the furs to the coon buyer by three and we were a little late.the money from the furs went into another garmin collar.alot of fun.if you ever get out this way you are welcome to come and hunt with her.she is a real tree dog with a outstanding mouth.a plus to any mans kennel.Thanks for breeding your female to Stinger.

Good talking to everybody the last few days.Its good to see pups showing up out of sons and daughters of Tree daddy and Stinger.both seem to be doing good with reproducing some good balance hounds.
I have 6 pups booked out of Stinger and Fly and if anybody else is looking for this breeding give me a call somebody may back out.
I have three females left out of Tree Daddy and Ruby one backed out from Alabama.Pups look good and are healthy up to date on vacinations.
We have our first light dusting of snow.I`m not looking forward this part of winter.our deer shot gun season will come to a end sunday.then i`ll be back to coon hunting.

Matt, looks like things are going good. I haven't had a chance to hunt much. Been struggling with some physical issues, but I think things are getting better. Plan on making up for lost time.

Are you coming to Orangeburg this year? If you do, maby we could get together for a hunt. Hope things continue to go good for you, and keep up the good work. Don't forget to put me down for a female.

Billy,we put a little time in the timber it sure is paying off.
Wayne,we had to sight the 22 in after a good fall.LOL were not going to take many more.were going to get more hunting spots after this shot gun deer season gets out of the way.
Vic,You wouldn`t believe it,I had to buy a new set of rubber for the truck and one of my hounds needs a new set too.LOL sure has been fun.we`ll have another garmin collar for next week.

Craig,I`m sure you`ll get to feeling better soon.we`ve all had our ups and downs and bouncing back is always a good feeling.I would love to get to hunt with ya sometime.I`m not forsure about Orangeburg.were thinking about entering a couple up.I think we have until the 8th.lastyear didn`t work to good with my knee problem.I have you down for a female and i`m sure you`ll be happy with one of these young ones.

Yes,I just looked her up.no doubt Buzz`s line would be a great addition to any kennel.it looks like she hasn`t sold as of tonight.I hope you find the True Boy II line up close.Buzz has a hound he likes real well that is loaded up with old blood he has sired a few litters.if I can help in any way let me know.

This is my 8 point buck I shot this afternoon.They don`t come this pretty for me.I`ve put a few in the freezer over the years this is the most even rack yet for me.I seen this buck bow hunting and he was always to far out.not today for the ol 12 ga.dropped him quick.he was behind another small 8 point that was following 3 doe.I was looking the other buck over and decided to shoot one of the doe when this guy came out 25 yards behind the other buck.a little patience and luck paid off for me.

Congratulations Matt! Thats a dandy. What a huntin season you have had. All those coon and now a nice buck. Just goes to show that sometimes good things happen to good guys. Thanks Billy and Shane,

Now I can get back to Coonhunting.our shotgun week is over after sunday.their will still be a few wounded deer running around for a few days.give the coyotes a few days to clean up the gut piles and we`ll be back to normal.I know the hounds are ready to go for round two.the only bad thing is I have to go back to work.its been a good two week vacation.take care and i`ll be talking to ya guys.

When I first started coonhunting Emit Brohard had Tack.He had Tack II and Solid Rock,He was pushing Tack II and I had one out of him.I had one out of a Tack II female with Smoker being the sire.real nice female,I made her a Nt Ch in NkC, I raised three littters out of her and then sold her to Tom Russell in Mich.

Where would a guy find a tight bred True Boy II and or Tack linebred hound today? I know Harry Darby had Tack in his line of hounds.what other lines carry both that you know of?

hi matt mr edwards that you have been talking to has some well bred tack dogs the female that mr tuck had was heavy trueboy mr jim bartley has some the female you sold mr russel must have been nice he had to be missing smoker dan drinkard sent me to mr toms and said if i likrd him take him home did not take drinkard long to come after him but he looked good at my house while i had him and of course mr ormiston in oklahoma his dogs goes back to trueboy 2 and bob gaithers nell female ron white has some in missippi oh thats a nice buck you killed

It was good that Jim Bartley brought his Crow female to Stinger,she was lucky enough to have 1 female pup.Crow had cist on her overies.she is going to be bred to Mike Fairchild Slew next.I`ve tried to keep well balanced hounds putting track abilty 1st.I don`t know if I`ve been in the woods with a harder tree dog than Stinger.I`ve tried to keep the EBJ line concertrated.its worked good for me and I`m sure it would cross on about any line with great success.what line of hounds do you currently hunt and part of Tenn.are you from ?

Tight bred Tack II x Annie with another shot of ole Tack on the bottom side. Ron's old Bingo dog on the top. One slight problem, she is 11 years old! LOL She will still crawl up on the side of a tree & make a racket. Her last escape out of the kennel I found her treed about 75 yards up the fence row out back. She had the meat alright, the neighbors cat didn't look too scared, but ole Star sure was proud of that cat! LOL

I got my first blue dog from Emet as well. He was a male dog from the Tack II x Annie cross. He could throw that head up & slide under those laid up coons. I got that pup in the summer of 1988, & I have some very nice memories of hunting with Emet up around Greenville. He was one of a kind!

All good here Hounds looking good.I know Philip is really proud of his pups.He said they both are very smart with big big mouths and natural tree hounds,they may be breeding a daughter of Eli to Tree Daddy next heat.so I`d say Philips pups are turning some heads.Tree Daddy will leave his mark.I would love to get a few more females bred to him he is looking at 9 years old before to long.
