Snow...
I suppose it's a matter of what a person likes to do. For coon hunting in these hills...it's about impossible but if you're into snowmobiling or other winter sports...I suppose it's great to have this much snow. It really slows life down for a few months when it's like this because it limits what you can do and where you can go.
Dave got himself a snowmobile so maybe we can combine snowmobiling and training somewhere down the road. If we can make enough tracks so that walking isn't so difficult, we can still do some pup training on the good days on the weekends. Right now, there isn't much to disturb the snow except for the places where the deer are digging for food every night...other than that, it's a pristine scene of smooth white rippled only be waves of drifts across the landscape...heck of a deal...eh?
If it gets above freezing for a few days in a row, it will settle the snow cover and if it rains...who knows, we might be able to get around a bit and even turn a dog loose now and then...we can always wish...
