Yes God Is Holding Us Accountable

Hello All ! I hope you are doin fine and all yer prayers are answered and things are getin better. God answers prayer ,every prayer in his time ,not ours , and he might not answer our prayers the way we want but its for the good of what is asked .Lets get to the message for the day........Yes, God Is Holding Us Accountable!

“We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from Thy precepts and from Thy judgments.” - Daniel 9:5

Daniel prayed, “We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from Thy precepts and Thy judgments.” You ask, “Did Daniel do all that?” No, Daniel simply included himself in his prayer for his nation.

Does God hold me accountable for the abortion in America? Yes! Does God hold me accountable for the pornography? Yes! For the drug addiction, alcoholism, materialism, humanism? Yes, He does. Friend, if the church had done what she ought to have done, and if we would do what we ought to do, then these problems would be healed. And while we may not commit these sins, they are still our sins. Verse 20 of this same chapter makes it so clear: “While I was speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel….”

Now, people who don’t know God aren’t going to confess the sin of this nation. Like Daniel, we must set our face and pray with reflection and repentance, confessing our sin and the sin of America. Only sin that is confessed is forgiven.

Have you ever set your face to prayer? So much of our prayer, I hate to say, is casual prayer, prayer that comes with almost a take-it-or-leave-it attitude. When are we going to set our face before God with fasting and determination? Pray without ceaseing...God Loves Yas ,,,We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,, Your Friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom ,,,Ron ...Prayers for you all . I love yous in Christian Love

What God Would Rather Do

Well its Friday once again. The year is half over. That old saying { Time is flying by } sure is right . I hope ya read todays message slowly It means alot.Lets get to it... What God Would Rather Do

“The instant I speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, to pull down, and to destroy it, if that nation against whom I have spoken turns from its evil, I will relent of the disaster that I thought to bring upon it.” - Jeremiah 18:7-8

In this passage, God is not just talking about the nation Israel. He’s talking about nations in general. God says, “When I get ready to judge a nation, if that nation will repent, then I will turn from the judgment that I had determined to send upon that nation.”

Let me tell you something about the great heart of our God: God is a God of righteousness, judgment, and justice, but God had rather show mercy than send judgment.

America is ripe for judgment. God says, “When I get ready to judge a nation, if that nation will repent, then I will turn from the judgment that I had determined to send upon that nation.” We are in the eleventh hour, the clock is about to strike midnight, and we need to pray, “Oh God, hold back Your hand of judgment upon America.”

“If we confess our sin, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sin and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9)

A church steeple is something that is supposed to point us to God. Have you ever noticed that the closer the steeple gets to the top, the smaller it gets?It also represents that the gates to Heaven is small and narrow. The closer we get to God, the more we realize how insignificant and sinful we are. This is not a time for finger-pointing in America. This is a time for repentance of personal sin. I’m talking about the people in the pew. The Bible says the time has come that judgment begin at the house of God. God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have A Blessed Day,,, Your Friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom ,,, Ron ... Prayers for all

I Dont Understand But I will Obey

Good Mornin! I had a great weekend. Every year the Sunday the first day of our county fair is Christian night .They have different Gospel groups from everywhere come and perform. Our church band was asked to perform, Our band opened the Christian Celebration followed by The Gibson Girls, The Lords 5,and many other awsome groups.GODS presence filled the whole place You could feel GOD standing right there beside you as songs were sang. For the Grand Finale of the night all 8 of the different groups got on the grandstand stage and we performed that good ole song "Il Fly Away " Every person there were on there feet singing . My wife said, she heared lots of different people say that last song with everyone singing seemed like the finale of a Bill Gaither Homecoming. Now you see why I had a GREAT weekend..Ive been a little long winded so we better get to the message for today. Don’t Understand, But I’ll Obey

“And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.” - 1 Samuel 15:22

I read an interesting story about Stephen Grellet, a pioneer evangelist to the lumbermen in the Rocky Mountains many years ago. He felt the Spirit of God leading him to a particular lumber camp to preach. When he got there, the place was absolutely deserted. He said, “Lord, I don’t understand, but I'm going to be obedient.” So he opened his Bible without a soul in sight and preached a full-length message. Then he pled for people to come to Christ. He said, “Lord, I don’t know what that was all about but Lord, I was obedient.” Years later, a man walked up to him in England and said, “I was the foreman at a lumber camp. I had come back to the camp to get an ax, and I heard you preaching. I stood behind a pile of lumber and listened. As you preached, my heart was strangely warmed, and I repented of my sin and gave my heart to Jesus Christ. I later witnessed to four other men. Now, all five of us are missionaries preaching around the world.”

How important it is that we obey completely in small things! Naaman was asked to dip seven times in the river Jordan. At first, he angrily refused. But in 2 Kings 5:13 his servants asked him, “… if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not have done it?”

Do you know why many of us are not obeying God more than we are? Because we're not hearing what God is saying. We're not spending time listening to God. That's the importance of a quiet time, that's the importance of getting somewhere alone with God in a nook with this book and reading and listening. God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,, Your Friend In Christ ,,,From The Riverbottom,,,Ron... Prayers for everyone.

Philippians 2:9-11

Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Praise be unto the Lord!

Thats What Brought Me To Christ

Hello ! We have had some pretty strong storms here in the riverbottoms the last couple days and without power. It messed up my computer. The computer is like yer cell phone ,,When ya dont have it with ya ,,,you really miss it, Its fixed again for now. Lets get to the message for the day. That’s what Brought Me to Christ

“And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek, offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloak forbid not to take thy coat also.” - Luke 6:29

Someone asked an army officer, “Why are you a Christian?” He said, “One day we went out on a march. We slugged through the mud all day long. Our boots were dirty, and our clothes were heavy. When we came into the barracks, we were cross and irritable.”and really didnt wana be messed with.

“There was a young man who had already come in, cleaned up, and was kneeling down by his bed saying his prayers. I became so irritated I took one of my muddy boots and hit him in the head with it.” He said, “The young man paused for a moment and just looked at me, then continued praying. But when I awoke the next morning, my boots were beautifully polished and set by my bed by that young man. That’s what brought me to Christ.”

You know, it is when God’s people suffer as Christians that this world begins to look at us. Now we may not want it. We may not ask for it. Certainly I’m not asking for it. But if it comes, let us suffer as Christians, as the Bible says. Oh dear friend, from the human viewpoint it is misery. From the Satanic viewpoint it is mystery. But from the divine viewpoint it is ministry. Im so glad,,, God Loves Yas,,,We love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,, Your Friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom,,,Ron ... Need prayer ? All ya gota do is ask.

Worthy To Die,Living For Jesus

Good Friday Mornin ! The week just flew by. Now on to the weekend to get things done around the house. See ya in church Sunday . Worthy to Die, Living for Jesus

“Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried…” - Revelation 2:10

Polycarp was the pastor of the early church in Smyrna. He was asked to renounce his faith in Christ and offer a pinch of incense to Caesar. He refused and said, “Eighty and six years have I served Him, and in nothing hath He wronged me; and how, then, can I blaspheme my King, Who saved me?” When they heard that, they clamored to burn him at the stake. They brought their wood and heaped it around his feet. And then Polycarp prayed, ““I count it a blessedness to be thought worthy of a place among the martyrs of Jesus Christ.” And when that fire was kindled around his feet, he was heard singing and praising the Son of God.

Most of us will not die at the stake, be carried to the wall and shot, or be imprisoned for the Lord Jesus Christ. We may not have a chance to die that way, but can we not die to this vile world? Can we not die to our plans and our ambitions? And can we not say that Jesus Christ is Lord? God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,, Your Friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom,,,Ron
Prayers sent to help..

The Fathers Wealth

Good Mornin ! It is going to be super hot all week 100'S most of the week.Be careful out in that heat ,It can hurt ya, Make sure that you check on family friends and neighbors and make sure there cool .. lets geter on to the message for the day. The Father’s Wealth

“And I will give him the morning star.” - Revelation 2:28

I remember reading a story about a wealthy Roman who had a lavish estate, and he had a servant named Marcellus. When the wealthy Roman died, he wrote his will and left everything to his slave. The wealthy Roman also had a son, and for some reason he had had a disagreement with him, so in his will he said, “I have left my entire estate to my slave Marcellus. To my son, I leave him only one thing. He can choose any one thing from my estate he wants, but that's all.” The son said, “Very well, I choose Marcellus.”

Here at the end of Revelation 2, our Lord gives another sweet promise to those who overcome (v. 28): "And I will give him," that is, the overcomer, "the morning star." Jesus is that morning star. What He's saying is, “You'll receive the greatest reward of all, you'll receive Me, the morning star.” Do you know what the morning star is? It’s the star that appears just after the darkest hour of the night.

It's getting very dark. Praise God, it's getting gloriously dark, and before long that morning star is going to appear. Jesus is the morning star. If you choose Jesus, with Jesus comes all the Father's wealth. How rich you will be .God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day ,,,Your Friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom,,, Ron ,Prayers sent for each of you.

Never Knowing The Difference

Hey ! Whats up ! I know its very warm here in the Riverbottoms and its going to be all week.I sure wish those ole matters would start getin some red to them,I got lots of green ,but no red.I have ate some fried green ones .There good. But not like the red ripe ones. Lets get to the message for the day and may it be a blessing to yas... Never Knowing the Difference

“Cast me not away from Thy presence; and take not Thy Holy Spirit from me.” - Psalm 51:11

When a person dies, his spirit departs. And I’m afraid that’s what has happened to many churches: the Holy Spirit has departed.

The organism has become an organization and the movement has become a monument.

Dr. Carl Bates said years ago something that shook me to my foundation: “If the Holy Spirit were to suddenly die [now, of course, you know that's impossible. He cannot die] but “if the Holy Spirit were to suddenly die, most of our churches would meet next Sunday and go right on and never know the difference.”

I wonder if that’s not true about many churches. The Holy Spirit has not died, but He has departed. I've been in some churches where you’d think that Hallelujahs and Amens cost $100 apiece. You just can't find them. There’s a sort of barren stillness. But I believe there's something contagious about the Holy Spirit of God. Where the Holy Spirit is we know GOD is you can feel it and feel GODS presence. That ole song {" Theres a sweet sweet spirit in this place and I know that its the Spirit of the LORD " }

The Bible says where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. I don't think we have to fry in fanaticism or freeze in formalism, but I believe we ought to have a burning, passionate, blazing, emotional love for the Lord Jesus Christ. Ya know what ???? I can feel the Holy Spirit right here on these postings as I and Brad and others type the messages each day. GODS workin here. Hes workin in each and everyone of our lives. God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Godly Blessed Day,,, Your Friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom,,,Ron... Need prayers ? Just ask.

Are You Lookin For An Easy Way To Serve God ?

Good Mornin! Were getin some much needed rain here in the Riverbottoms .It cools things down then the humidity comes up and its worse than ever..O' Well Winter is on its way ,,,But its way down the road yet. So just enjoy what we have. Now to the message for the day. Are You Looking for an Easy Way to Serve God?

“…and run with patience the race that is set before us.” - Hebrews 12:1

The word “patience” here doesn’t mean the ability to thread a needle, but literally means “endurance.” It means bearing up under some load, some challenge.

Are you looking for an easy way, a cheap way, a lazy way to serve God? All honey and no bees? A life of ease? You just want to say, “O, I’m so happy in Jesus.” Listen, this business of running this race means that you’re going to be at it with all of your heart.

You may be on a sick bed or in a wheelchair. But none is excluded. We are to run with endurance. When you watch someone running, do you notice how intense he is? If you’re in this race, you need to pray over it, you need to weep over it, you need to study over it, you need to work over it. We can look around and see people that are in worse health or just have more problems than we do and there running right past us in this race.

This matter of being saved and running the race is a full-time occupation. God does business with those who mean business.
God has the best rateing at the Better Bussiness Bureau than anyone has ever had. God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed day,,, Your Friend In Christ,,, From The Riverbottom,,, Ron ...Prayers for all

A Prize To Possess

Good Mornin We had a hot weekend here in the riverbottoms, very hot.But nothing like Hell is gona be if we dont have Christ in our life.I pray you ask him in ,,As one of these days is gona be to late. Lets get to the message for the day.
Prize to Possess

“…who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” - Hebrews 12:2

Jesus is our example. He is a champion who, when He ran His race, received a crown of joy. When an athlete runs, he runs to win a trophy. In our verse today, what is “the joy that is set before Him”? It’s winning the race. He “endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

That crown gave Him the ability to endure. If you keep the crown in mind, you can bear the cross. But you cannot have the crown if you despise the cross. We are crucified with the Lord Jesus Christ.

I had a few trophies that I won back in high school on a championship football team: a gold football, a letterman’s jacket and a silver cup. Do you know what happened to all those trophies? I gave the gold football to my grandson. The moths had a camp meeting in the jacket. There are no more letters on that lettermans jacket. What happened to the silver cup, I haven’t the foggiest.

Friend, athletes run “to obtain a corruptible crown; but we for an incorruptible” (1 Corinthians 9:25). Running the race, Jesus had the joy that was set before Him and He endured the cross. He despised the shame. There is a prize to possess. God Loves Yous,,,We Love Yous, Have a Blessed Day,,,Your friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom,,,Ron Prayers for all

Hebrews 11:1

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.

Got FAITH?? I sure do.... I got JESUS!!!

Running for the Soul Winners Crown

Hello All !its cooled of some and not to bad. lets geter on to the message . Lets all run for the Triple Crown {The Father ,The Son and The Holy Spirit }
Running for the Soul Winner’s Crown

“For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming? For ye are our glory and joy.” - 1 Thessalonians 2:19-20

Here’s what Paul was saying to those in Thessalonica: “When Jesus comes, my crown is going to those that I’ve led to Him.” Now that’s a crown that doesn’t corrupt. When you die and go to heaven, are you going to take somebody with you, or are you going to heaven alone? “Must I go and empty-handed, must I meet my Savior so; without one soul with which to greet Him, must I empty-handed go?” Now I don’t want to hurt your feelings, but I’m concerned because most people in church are not active soul winners. That’s tragic.

You say, “But, Ron, I give my money.” I don’t care how much money you give. If you’re not endeavoring to bring souls to Christ, you’re not right with God. You say, “Well, I teach.” I don’t care how eloquently you teach. If you’re not trying to bring souls to Jesus, you’re not right with God. You say, “Well, I attend faithfully.” I don’t care how much you attend. If you’re not trying to bring souls to Jesus Christ, you are not right with God. All God asks is tell others about him. and what hes done for you. That is so easy to do.

Andrew Murray said, “There are two classes of Christians: soul winners and backsliders.” You are one or the other. If you don’t have a passion to see people come to the Lord Jesus Christ, I wonder if you know the Jesus I know. It makes my heart feel so good every time I see some one saved by the grace of God.Because I know what that person has instore for thereselves.. dear brother, my dear sister, there is a crown to run for. It’s the soul winner’s crown. God Loves yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day ,,,Your Friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom ,,,Ron Prayers Sent for all

Hebrews 12:1

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us!

Amen... what an encouraging piece of scripture. One thing we all need each and every day in this lost and dying world is encouragement..... which we can always find in God's word..... The HOLY BIBLE! Praise be to my heavenly Father.

No Closet Off Limits

Hey !!!!!! Just so you will know ...Wintertime is right around the corner,Its coming. This hot weather will be long gone. For now lets enjoy the summertime. Lets get to the message for the day. No Closet Off Limits

“And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit.” - Ephesians 5:18

God tells us to be filled with His Spirit. To be filled with the Spirit of God means first, repentance, then resistance of the devil, and then renewal. It means there’s not one room in your temple where God is off limits. There’s not one closet He doesn’t have a key to. You are filled with the Spirit in your church life, in your business life, in your sex life, in your political life, and in your social life. In the big things and the little things, in your money, in your exercise, in your sleep, in your eating, in your lying down, and in your waking up. You give Jesus the keys to it all. Then when you are filled with the Spirit, there’s no more room for Satan.

If there’s room for Satan, the Spirit is grieved and I am not filled with the Spirit. Repentance, resistance, renewal! Don’t try to repent until you’re honest and face your sin. Don’t try to resist until you’ve repented. And don’t try to be filled until you resist, until you choose against Satan and yield to God’s blessed Holy Spirit. God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,,Your Friend In Christ,,, From The Riverbottom,,,Ron ...Prayers sent for all
