Went outside to load the dogs up and go hunting and realized the snow was almost as high as the tires on the ole hunting truck lol

Got the same here....12+ inches. Won't be huntin here for awhile!!! Got the 4 wheel drive 4 wheeler out and pulled the kids around, bedded the dogs and fed all the animals and that's about it. Lookin like it ain't goin anywhere for awhile!!!

The biggest difference I see between us with 15 inches of snow and north with 6 feet of snow is that is you slide off of the flat road going to work you end up in a corn field. If we slide off the road we pumble to our death 4000 feet to the bottom lol. Which I know they're other places with mountains and snow too lol I was assissting some tractor tractor trailers on Monday and they informed me they drove all over the country in a lot bigger snow and never got stuck until they hit east ky with a foot and are stuck here for a week lol got to love the Appalachian mountains

I've lived in both and you're right Rob....slip off the road up home (where I lived most of my life) you either get back on the road and laugh about it or get pulled out, or you slide off down here and die Some place's are ready for this stuff or not and have WAY different terrain to deal with!

I SEEN A BIG BOBCAT TUESDAY AFTERNOON. HE WAS LAYING HIGH UP ON A BIG BEECH LIMB IN THE SUN ABOUT 50 YARDS FROM THE HOUSE .I WATCHED HIM AS I SHOVELED SNOW.WE HAVE A LOT MORE HERE IN THE HILLS THAN MOST PEOPLE REALIZE .
