HB, Chuck's mom is in the nursing home now. They just brought her home for a few hrs yesterday. Chuck was upset tonight when we were there because she wanted to get ready for bed and we buzzed the desk. About 10 minutes later, one guy comes back (she has to have 2) so he said he'd find someone and be back. 10 minutes later, he comes back with help and they put her in the bathroom and leave. It was at least 20 minutes before 2 gals came in. We went in to get her ourselves when they came. He told them no one should have to wait that long. They apologized and got her in bed. Later, he told them they are good with her, but are short staffed. Her mind is pretty good. We were down on Thursday and told her we wouldn't be down for a few nights because we were going to the casino and taking Ruby to an HTX. As soon as we went in she asked Chuck "how did your dog do?"
Did u get to ride ur bay yet. I hope to get Jas out tomorrow.

Ridge I walk about a quarter mile...my daughter worked at a nursing home before she started going to school to be a nurse and was hired at our local hospital....i was glad she moved on from that job. it was taking a emotional toll on her..she told me once when she worked at the nursing home..that her patients didn't get better and go home.it was her job to make them comfortable and happy for their time they have left....

Yes...working in nursing homes would be tough, I couldn't do it. But living in one isn't much better.
Guess we're kind of lazy mushroom hunters. We drive around the back roads.
Today was a beautiful day in NW PA. I rode Jas 3 hrs. If I wouldn't have told Chuck I was only going a couple of hrs, I would have went longer. I saw 7 deer, 2 turkeys and 4 grouse. Then tonight after we got home from the jnursing home, we took the dogs out. It was after 10 so we decided one tree and come home. The dogs weren't out of the Jeep more than a minute or 2, they struck and took off along the woods, made a little loop and started treeing. They had 2 up one tree.

those nurseing homes are the pits they don't take very good care of folks mostly nelect most the 1 that my wifes mom was in let her fall 32 times in 4yrs last fal she never came out of it and passed yea the bay is in the feild haven't ben on her yet got her on weight builder i want another 100 lbs on her before i start ridein her dang people didn't fed her her hip bones was showin when the boy got her kept her in the barn till she fill out some but she's doin good now me & my snowbuddy had a bad fallin out this moronin so no more helpin him been freinds sense we were kids told the wife come get me before ido something grazy and get arrested for assualt he just pick the wrong moronin to start runnin his mouth

It was cloudy here all day and didn't rain much until tonight when we were at the far end of the field with the dogs trying to find their 2nd coon. We got wet, but made it back to the Jeep before it poured.

Chuck's dad and sisters had a mtg with the nursing home staff today. They r going to bring her home on the 27th as long as she continues to improve. He's planning on hiring people to help during the day.

Hope things calm down between u and ur snow buddy, HB.

Suppose to get severe thunderstorms here around 2:30. Weren't calling for them until tonight. Chuck just started mowing....again. He hasn't got the whole yd mowed yet. And where he started in the orchard looks like its ready to be mowed again. A vicious circle once it starts.

we had 2 storms this afternoon went seen a buddy that use to work with me up my snow buddy's he introduce me to his boss he said ive heard about you for sometime you wanna work told him id help him took me to morgantwn with another boy said you know what your doin and left came back said everything looks fine went to his shop said be here in the moronin guess i got another full time oblagation lol

That's quite the find, Rex!

We has nasty storms yesterday. This AM our rd had leaves, mud and rocks washed out on it. Probably gonna be some motorcycle accidents this wkend on it.
Impatiently waiting at Jeep dealer. Brought it over yesterday so they could get an early start. They had the wrong part! It was supposed to be done before noon and its 1:34 and its still on the rack.

we had rain up till noon then cleared out grant call me want ta know if i could help him put mulch down on the job i did yesterday so off i went got home at 6 this evenin got a cal from a buddy said my snow buddy pin a guys foot inbetween the trailer and a log and shove it on his foot with his tractor said the place went to hel the 2 day's i wasn't there told him what goes around always comes back to get ya

same here 43 now i had to turn the heat on was 67 in the house at 7 am this moronin hopein to mow my grass but they calling for 80 percent today got the grass mowed went over it twice was pretty wet need to take the blower over it but the rain got me still ned to wedeat quits rainin i'll geter done

Our son and us both got our wranglers at the same Jeep dealer. But someone screwed up big time if they looked at our 2012 then ordered parts for a 2008! It took them 2 days to get the parts in thecfirst time and yesterday it onlt took hrs. Still never got out if there until after 3.
