I try not to look at the thermometer. Gotta make hay when the sun shines, doesn't matter how hot it is. We got 160 bales made today. 2 outside rounds weren't dry enough. We' ll get them tomorrow and hopefully, the other 1.5 acres we have down. Was pleasantly surprised that what we got in today looks pretty decent. It might not be the best, but I'm sure Jas will think it tastes alot better than snowballs this winter.

y'all got any cattle theres alot of folks that winter thier stuff on scenery & snowballs i can't do that myself i like to keep everything up on thier weight before cold weather hits

No...we had a steer yrs ago. Bottle fed him 2 months, brushed him and fed him everyday, made a real pet out of Nappy, then took him to the butcher....cried the whole way home. Told Chuck NEVER again.

It rained here Saturday and yesterday, but I forgot to ck the rain gauge.
We went hunting mushrooms yesterday. We hunt for ones named "lactarius hygrophoroides" (milky mushrooms) at least that's the closest looking picture in my book. We met some guys that told us we drove past chanterelle. So we went back and got a couple to try, we're NOT dead yet!!

same ere nice day only got in the lows 70s then the temps raise and the humidty returns but calling fo severe storms storms thursday into fridaythe wife and i watched a doe and 2 little 1s for about 20 mins in the feild she got a kick outa the little 1s runin and playin til 1 the horses came off the hill they left in a hurry
