was a nice day here leaves have turn here and falling everywhere our coon season starts tommoro nite may go with my buddy depends on how tard i am after the club ride took the wife to play the machines i came out 250 bucks ahead 1st time in quite a spell i came out ahead

Hope u have a nice ride, HB. I'm going to ride Jas around here. Squirrel and grouse and early muzzleloader season comes in tomorrow, if I see a lot of hunters, I'll come back. Hope to get on the Paso mare, but that's a thought not a plan.
Had plans to ride Sunday with a bunch of friends, but now the forecast changed to 90% chance of rain. 😞
Leaves are falling, but more are on than off. I long fall is ok with me, its my favorite time of the yr.

thanks ridge hope you have a good ride also i was watchin a little gray paso last week at that ride she was a bit hyper when she 1st started out but never seen her do anything wrong id like to try and deal for her before billy messes her up but my barn will only hold 5 horses now that the boy tore the back part off it would work till next spring when he keeps his horses over here most of the summer i have the bay and a mini pony here all yr

Yep it was a bit warm today I had a high of 82,watchin the only football to watch Alabama Crimson Tide & Arkansas THE TIDE IS 17 to 0. ROLL TIDE ROLL everybody have a good one.

It was a beautiful day in NW PA. IF I would have known it was going to be so nice, I would have loaded Jas in the trailer and left for the day. But I got an hr ride in on her and got on Dolly (Paso mare) and rode her up and down the lane a few times and we took the dogs for a 6 mile run.
Dolly is a bit hyper, too. All she wanted to do was gait...NO walk in her, at least not today. But she didn't do anything wrong and is really smooth.

those paso are like sittin in a rockin chair our ride wasn't the best boy said should be serval people there only 2 ladies showed up both was on the dingy side only got a 3 hr ride in the 1 wouldn't ride on a well graveled road then said grass was to tall to ride through to get to another trail she was the trail boss we wasn't allowed to ride the 1st time without a group ride 1st think this club is gonna be a joke boy said we can ride now when we want to without any club members haveing to be there

It is a bit damp out,believe it's supposed to go through Fairley fast & not get much above 61 today.me & the oldest son got alot ot mowin done yesterday w/ the ole Massey tractor,that brush chopper sure makes short time of mowin,& brush.

we are suppose to get some rain this evening & tonite who knows gotta run over to my boys get my bridle pick the wrong 1 up didn't notice till this even when i started to hang everything up must be gettin old we are getting our rain with high wind leves fallin everywhere comin home from the boys

was a cloudy cool day here with a bit of off & on showers suppose to get down in the 30s tonite ridge my facebook is outa whack i can see pics and stuff but can't reply wife probly got it messed up playin all them games told her to stay on her own nice lookin mare usally a tom thumb bit works god on about any horse you may have ta put the spurs to her let her know she can't go back to the barn untill you want her to

Thanks HB, I got her and her son. She's 15 and he's 8....he screams for her all the time. They've only been separated a few times. I hope she was turning today because of the wind. I usually don't ride when it's windy. I was on a 3 yo in my roundpen yrs ago. Thought that would be a safe place to work her a little, she spooked and turned at a fast trot. I hit the top rail, broke 3 ribs, punctured a lung and it partially collasped. Walked to she house and had my son drive me to the hospital. It wasn't a very good Good Friday for me. Got out of ICU on Easter afternoon.
If Chuck wouldn't have been here today, I wouldn't have got on her. My friend is coming tomorrow to ride. She has a horse that hasn't been ridden much. I'm riding Jas with her, then we're coming back and trying some of her bits on Dolly.
I used the Tom Thumb on my other horses, then after reading how severe they were, switched to full cheek snaffles, then ended up getting bitless bridles for Jas and Belle....not brave enough to try it on Dolly yet.

snaffle is what the boy uses on his paint mare i use a tom thumb bit on the bay but usally just ride her with a loose rein use leg pressure unless she wants to get hyped up side which don't happen alot
