I owned a older sister to your Old Chain dog and I may be mistaken but I'm pretty sure I owned the Chain dog when he was a puppy I bought him and a littermate brother to him the other male got killed and I called the Chain dog Fiery Gizzard Savage.... That Toad x Lilly cross was a dandy and Mr. Roberts was a fine man to talk hounds too

Travis, yes that was Chain's original name when i got him. i believe he was 13 months old when i got him from a gentleman in Alabama. Told me he was green as grass but would kick dirt in your face and he didnt lie about that haha. 3rd night i had him in the woods he split treed and had a coon. Shot the coon out dead and he wouldnt even touch it. Till the day he died if the coon was dead when it hit the ground he was that way.

Hey ed

Been a while since I been on here. Shine is still treeing coon all 10 of his pups are good about time to start them. I kept 2, there momma off of Neuse river heat climbed out the pen and got ran over. She got turned out around 10 times ran 3 deer treed a bear and treed 5 coons with only going 10 times. She was cranking but once she got a taste for coon I had trouble keeping her in the pen. Didn't expect her to climb out. Hopefully the pups will turn out to be good.

Billy earned a ticket for the CHKC Working Man Tour for the month of February and will be hunting for a side by side in 2019.

on Friday April 6 Red won a CHKC cast and earning $144 towards this years breed and state race.

Good Luck, Ed! The guy that got it last yr had 19 wins. Doubtful Ruby and I'll do as good this yr as last. She came in heat and we missed a couple of bench shows and the meds I'm taking since I got this Parkinsons dx and herniated discs have me feeling so crappy, I don't feel like doing much....even thing about selling my horses, tack and gn trailer. BUT....we will be down for the club stuff events.

Thanks Rex Ridge, I think the Handler race runs from November to the end of October and with out looking i believe i have around 10 or more cast wins since then. Hopefully I can pull it off. It is something i have on my bucket list haha

Yes Red will be finished soon. He has a UKC 1st and 2nd and somewhere around a $1000 won in CHKC. Did you get the Rose female from Paul Shearer. She was my pick of the litter but then ended up keeping a male. Please keep me updated on your pup Thanks

Good luck with her and let me know how she does for you. Red also has wins in Water Race and Field Trial and has a few wins towards GrCh on Bench.

Here is Her Sire and Dam as you can see she is colored up alot like Red
