Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good. His love endures forever. Give thanks to the God of heaven. His love endures forever.

Making Suffering Your Servant

Wew ! Its cold here in the Riverbottoms this mornin,28 degrees on the barn thermometer.Theres even ice on all the critters water pans. But its wintertime and we can expect that. Lets get on to the message for the day. Making Suffering Your Servant

“And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with Him, that we may be also glorified together.” - Romans 8:17

How do you enlist suffering to make it your servant?

First, you receive it as a gift from God. Job said, “The Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord” (Job 1:21b).

Second, rely on God’s grace, because with the gift comes His grace. 2 Corinthians 9:8 promises, “And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.” God is going to be near you in a special way.

Finally, reflect on the glory of God. There is no greater Christian who ever lived than the Apostle Paul. His greatest motive in all he endured was the glory of God. His pain became a platform from which he declared the glory of God.

Receive it as a gift. Rely upon God’s grace. Reflect upon God’s glory. Choose to glorify Him through it. God Loves yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,, Your Friend In Christ,,, From The Riverbottom,,,Ron...Need prayer just ask

2 Peter 3:10-11

But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare. Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives.

Amen!

John 1:1-2, 14

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Hebrews 1:1-2

In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe.

Therefore Jesus said again, “Very truly I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep. I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

Hold The Things Of This World Loosely

Good Mornin ! Well winter is here . Its 29 degrees and the temp is falling. A short time back we were sayin,, Winter is comin. Suppose to get some snow here Thursday some is sayin 1 inch others say 3 .I dont care if its a foot. Its Wintertime .. Lets get on to the message for the day..... Hold the Things of This World Loosely

“And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that aught of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.” - Acts 4:32

You can tell a lot about a person by what makes him sad, what makes him glad, and what makes him mad. Amen? When a person has joy in the Lord, the things that distress other people are not going to have much effect.

To fully trust in the Lord, there must be—

a confidence that relies on the Lord.
a communion that rejoices in the Lord.
a commitment that rolls burdens onto the Lord.

Have you learned to have joy in the Lord and not in the things of this world? Are you holding the things of this world loosely? If you don’t, God may teach you to do this. God Loves Yas,,,We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,, Your Friend In Christ,,, From The Riverbottom,,, Have a Blessed and Merry Christmas The Lords Birthday will be here very soon ! Ron... Prayers for all.

When We Gather,The Lord Is In Our Midst

Good Mornin ! 12 degrees here this mornin. Its wintertime ! Im gona go get the chores done . Now to the message for this cold day... When We Gather, the Lord Is In Our Midst

“For where two or three are gathered together in My name, there am I in the midst of them.” - >Matthew 18:20

One day, the secret service visited a church to check it out for the President of the United States. For some reason the President decided not to come, but the news was already out around town. Soon people were calling the church to find out if anyone could come that Sunday.

A lady called to say that she wasn’t a member, but she wanted to see the President. She asked the pastor, “Is it true that the President of the United States is going to be in your services on Sunday?” The preacher said, “No madam, he will not be here, but the King of kings will be, and that ought to be good enough for you.”

Jesus meets with His people, and He doesn’t care about the credentials of the guest list. He is in their midst.

It’s easy to become complacent—until we remember that the Lord is in our midst when we gather. And He is more worthy of honor than any potentate.,President or anyone else...God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,, Your Friend In Christ,,,
From The Riverbottom,,, Ron ... Prayers for all ,,,and MERRY CHRISTMAS !!!!!!!!!

Yes You Have The Time

Hello All ! We have some snow on the ground this mornin ,Just enough to cover the trucks ,cars and the ground..Its real pretty. I hope you really think about todays message that your gona read here today. I thought about it and it makes since if ya do your math.. Lets get to it .......... Yes…You Have the Time

“This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” - Psalm 118:24

Have you ever heard someone say, “He has more time than I have.” That’s not true. No one has more time.Everyone has the same amount. There are only 86,400 seconds in a day. Nobody has more time than that, even the man in Switzerland who owns the $7 million watch I read about recently. He doesn’t have one more second than you have.

You have a day that God has made. It is a gift from God. That is why it is called the present. Every morning, His mercies are new.Its a new day to start over if yesterday didnt work out like you wanted .

Every day God gives you enough time to learn, enough time to pray, work, enough time to laugh, enough time to love. He gives you enough time to do gracefully everything He wants you to do. It is a gift. What kind of steward are you of that gift today? If you say theres not enough time ,,, Ya need to slow down . God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,, Your Friend In Christ,,, From The Riverbottom,,,Ron... { Merry Christmas To All }

Matthew 2:4-6

When he had called together all the people’s chief priests and teachers of the law, he asked them where the Messiah was to be born. “In Bethlehem in Judea,” they replied, “for this is what the prophet has written: “‘But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for out of you will come a ruler who will shepherd my people Israel.’”

Luke 1:26-28

In the sixth month of Elizabeth’s pregnancy, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. The angel went to her and said, “Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you.”

Like Mary, we all are highly favored in the eyes of our Lord... Jesus definitely lives in me and I encourage you to accept HIM and that privilege today. God bless.

Seeing Your Life From The Foot Of The Cross

Good Mornin ! Another year is coming to an end soon.Where did this year go ? I know we can look back on 2016 and see many things that our Lord has helped us with and through.Good and Not so good.Im sure glad that he was with me every step of each day.I dont know how I could have made it this far if it were not for JESUS CHRIST being in my life. I love him ! Lets get on to the message for the day. Seeing Your Life from the Foot of the Cross

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” - John 3:16

A man was having difficulty living the Christian life.He was a believer and was saved and had JESUS in his life. But just couldnt get through a day not sinning just like me Riverbottom,,,Ron He went to his pastor, who told him to go see this painting at the Art Gallery. he went the very next day. The caretaker at the gallery led him to a large room where this painting adorned an entire wall.

The young man was repulsed at what he saw. It was a painting of Christ on the cross, but the perspective from which the artist painted it was off-balance. It looked grotesque.

The caretaker said, “Son, you need to get closer.”
The young man came closer.
“Son, you need to get lower.”
The young man got lower.
“No, closer and lower.”
Before the young man knew what was happening, he was kneeling at the foot of the cross.
And when he looked up, he understood the entire painting.

Until you are willing to take your place at the foot of the cross, the Christian life will never make sense to you, too. GGod Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,, Your Friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom,,,Ron ,,,MERRY CHRISTMAS !!! A Savior was born ! He is my Savior ! and wants to be yours ...My Prayer is If you dont have a releationship with JESUS CHRIST 2017 will be the Year.Hes waiting and what a great rest of your life you will have.

Just Passing Through

Good Cold Friday ! JESUS Birthday Day is geting closer, Man are we gona celebrate that birthday! Dont forget to tell everyone MERRY CHRISTMAS ! Lets get to the Message for the day. Just Passing Through

“And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.” - 1 John 2:17

The only thing that is going to last are the things of God. Period.

The world is passing away. Our days are fleeting. One day we will all be gone from this earth as we know it. You see, we’re not citizens of earth trying to get to heaven. We are citizens of heaven sojourning here on earth. This earth is not our home.

Are you living for the pleasures of the flesh? Or for the joy of the Spirit?
Are you living for the praise of men? Or for the glory of God?
Are you living for time? Or are you living for eternity?
Are you living for the things that can be seen? Or for the things that cannot be seen?

One of these days, this old world and all of its vaulted culture, proud philosophies, egocentric intellectualism, and godless materialism is going to be forgotten. But he that “doeth the will of God abideth for ever.”

Take stock: What are you really living for? God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,, Your Friend In Christ,,, From The Riverbottom,,,Ron... Merry Christmas to all ! and Prayers too !

And you, my child, will be called a prophet of the Most High; for you will go on before the Lord to prepare the way for him, to give his people the knowledge of salvation through the forgiveness of their sins, because of the tender mercy of our God, by which the rising sun will come to us from heaven.

Choosing Holiness as Your Way of Life

Hello ! Were going to have a heat wave this week,Were going from cold, cold to just a little warmer. Maybe 45degrees.There saying rain on CHRISTMAS DAY. I will take what ever the GOOD LORD gives. Lets get on to the message for the day. Choosing Holiness as Your Way of Life

“Dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.” - 2 Corinthians 7:1

Satan tricks many people today by making them think they will become a religious fanatic if they live a holy life. They want to see how close to the world they can live. They do not necessarily want to drink, but they will go to a pub, sit with their friends, and sip ginger ale so no one will know the difference. Why can’t they just go ahead and be holy? Why don’t they just take a stand for Jesus Christ?

Jesus says in Revelation 3:15-16, “I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew thee out of My mouth.” He would rather have us on the wrong side of the fence than sitting on the fence! When we are saved by Jesus,We will still be who we are. What will change in us will be the way we think and talk and act.The things that we think of will be different,When I got saved things that didnt matter to me ,I didnt have much compassion or care how others felt,Now I do. I cussed really bad using words that were so gross and bad and used God Name in vane in every other sentence that I spoke. I didnt care who was around when I said them. The way that I acted where ever I was at not careing about anyone or thing. Now for me to even think about all that is very imbarassing to me . But JESUS changed me . Im so glad that he did when I asked him into my life. Lord knows Im still Riverbottom ,Ron but have a new look at life and everything that comes into my path.Theres still lots of things that I wish I could change and not do or think, or say, But The LORD is still workin on me .. Ask JESUS CHRIST into your life.God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,, Your Friend In Christ,,, From The Riverbottom,,,Ron...MERRY CHRISTMAS ! Prayers for all

What Do You Really Live For ?

Good Mornin ! What do you really live for ? Lets get to the message. What Do You Really Live For?

“For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” - Philippians 1:21

I want you to finish this sentence: “For me to live is _________.”

Now, don’t give an answer that you think should be there. I want you to think of the thing that means the most to you because that is what it means for you to live.

You might fill in the blank with money, family, pleasure, finishing your education, fame, popularity, your spouse, closing the next big deal, or even church work.

“For me to live is ________, to die is ________.”

If you put anything other than Christ in the first blank, then you must finish the sentence with the word “loss” because you can’t take anything else with you when you die. God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,, Your Friend In Christ,,, From The Riverbottom,,,Ron Prayers for you alll.

Luke 2:8-11

And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord."

Luke 2:28-32

Simeon took him in his arms and praised God, saying:

“Sovereign Lord, as you have promised, you may now dismiss your servant in peace. For my eyes have seen your salvation, which you have prepared in the sight of all nations: a light for revelation to the Gentiles, and the glory of your people Israel.”

Brother in CHRIST,

Brad E. Isaacs
