Got home from Atlanta yesterday evening and about 11pm decided to go and make a drop. It was a tough night with cold tracks but finally about 2am, Frog and Hazel put one up and had the meat on the outside. I got a bunch of pics, but I didn't realize that the bill of my hat had closed the flash on my nikon......those pics were to dark to recover so here are the two only decent pics I got.




This is Hazel's second time to the woods and is only 5 months old. She is still just a baby but is showing great potential.

Haze has Produced his First GrNtCh Pup. These T-Top dogs are rolling. Boone was finished to Grand Night last night. This gives Haze his first GrNite. Haze is throwing some really good off spring. I sure hope Boone can someday be the reproducer that Haze is becoming.

Thanks Pastor Mike for working with Roger on this cross.

Congrats on Boone being Haze's first Grand Nite.

Did some training this evening, took 3 pups. 2 from Moose and Frog and 1 from Haze. Turned out pretty good.

A lot has been said lately about the females in a pedigree. Just look at the females in Haze's pedigree. I guess that it is no wonder Haze is now the #6 Reproducer with 1 Gr Nt and 4 Nt Ch's.

My 3 Haze females.....Wendy, Sheba and Mater...Maybe I can get them titled one day. Wendy is out of Nt Ch Willow, Moose's littermate sister. Sheba is out of Gr Nt Ch Long Tall Sally. Mater is double Gr Nt Ch Moonlight Kate. As someone said, it's all about the females.

I wish our National Forest held coon like that. Frog hunted out a huge area, over 1000 yards worth of area for over an hour, one creek of 800 yards and then we road hunted her for almost 2 miles and never struck. It's different hunting here for sure as some found out during our fellowship hunt. I may go late tonight if I'm up to it. Makes for a long day tomorrow when you get in at 4am but we are suppose to get rain this evening so maybe something will be moving.
