SETWD's was GREAT.Had several people stop by and talk about their Lobo dogs and several ask about Boone.All in all it was a good weekend.

Hey guys wanted to let you all know that Mom came through a two hour surgery fine. Still not out of the woods just yet. Have some cemo treatments to go through now. THANK YOU for your prayers and thoughts, it helped Mom and us through the day.

Hobo glad you enjoyed SETWD. Sorry I just could'nt make it this year. I read breifly about it from some on here who went. Sounds like it was a good one. Where can I get the new book at? i'd like to have one.

Walkerfied thanks for the call the other day. Tell Sr & Mom we said Hi. Nice pic of Bear. You sure he was'nt treeing that moth?

Glad to hear everything went ok. Dad went off to work again. He is in Kansas City workin for a couple of weeks. He should be back for Walker days here at Ada.

If Huggy did tree the moth, I could be on to something. There are a lot more moths out here than coon. Sounds like something that could get interesting. lol

ONE OF MY GOOD HUNTING BUDDIES HAS A DIRECT DAUGHTER OF DOHONEYS BOONE! 14 YEARS OLD AND STILL GETTING AROUND. HE HUNTED HER SOME LAST YEAR AND SHE WOULD STILL TREE A COON. DOHONEYS BOONE AND MIKE DOHONEY HAVE REALLY HELPED THE WALKER BREED. MY HATS OFF TO THEM!!!!

Nice lookin gyp Dennis. Hope she turns out for you. She is bred out the wazzoo isnt she lol.

PKC#1 I am sure I speak for Mike Dohoney when I say thanks for the compliments. We too think he has done as much if not more for the Walker breed than any man who has followed one.

Mike called this evening and told me about another one out of Thunder finishing Dual Grand. He is not goin to be around for a whole lot longer. He is 12 now so everyone better get a little of it before it is gone! I like his pups better than anything I have ever had. Cant go wrong doubling up on ole Spring Creek Rock thats for sure.

Jeff I talked with Mike at SETWD's last weekend and he said he's not letting go of anymore Boone semen for now.He said it would be a year or so before he used any for himself.So I guess we'll just have to settle for Swampmusic Boone pups for now.

61 degrees here and no wind!!! Cant believe it. Talked to Mike several times today and he is in Oklahoma now. He will be at the house Thursday morning and we are breeding Dizzy to gyp we leased off of Stylish Jake and a Grnite Harry female. Pups ought to be wired for 220v. Talk to everyone later on.

Skinner sent ya some arm floaties in case ya fall off the porch.

Invaded by a stranger from the north!

Well Mike made it down and we have had a good time so far. Darryl Trammel and his son Beck came with Mike and man did we get to visit and even got some coon treed. We got Nellie bred to Dizzy yesterday evening and hopefully she will have a belly full. We went hunting up on one of my best spots last nite and treed two. Darryl brought a half sister to Huggy, Lily is off of Stylish Harry and Fiddlers littermate sister, Lily. She is a nice lil female with a big mouth. She hasnt been hunted too much but she is doin well. Huggy did a fair job last nite and he is coming right along. I took some pics of the dogs last nite so I ll post a few for ya guys, hope ya enjoy them. Tomorrow is the big day for the hunt so we ll be back down there all day. Hope everyone is doin well and staying safe.
