Matthew 11:28

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."

What a comforting verse of scripture... Thank you, Jesus!

What You"re Facing This Coming Year

Hello ! I hope you had a very nice Christmas. Family time and just knowing that it is JESUS Birthday is what makes it special to me. We are so Blessed.Lets get to the message for the day. ...What You’re Facing This Coming Year

“But the Lord is my defense; and my God is the rock of my refuge.” - Psalm 94:22

When you get ready to really live for God, you are going to face three enemies. You’re going to face those who are in despair—they’re going to be howling calamity.
You’re going to face those with disdain—they’re going to laugh at you.
And you’re going to face those with discouragement—they’re going to say that it can’t be done.

And you better learn to silence their voices.

How do you do that?

Get alone in the secret counsel halls of the Almighty and get your eyes on God. If you listen to what those people say, you’re not going to be victorious in what God is calling you to do.

I believe David conquered Goliath because he got alone with God. I believe Joseph survived abandonment and imprisonment because he got alone with God.

Who are your enemies today, and what are you doing to silence them? Get alone with God and listen. Pray and ask GOD for help for this coming year,Live for him...God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,,Your Friend In Christ,,, From The Riverbottom,,,Ron Prayers sent for all

Titus 2:11-12

For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age.

He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.

Just a closer walk with thee..... That is my goal in 2017. God Bless!

When Opportunity Knocks

Good Mornin ! Well this is the first new week of the new year. Do ya want changes in yer life ? Now is the time to get started .With Jesus in your life anything is possible.Try a change that might just be what ya need. Its a cold 18 degrees here in the riverbottoms this mornin. We better get goin and get all my critters feed.So now on to tthe message for tthe day and may it be a blessing to you. When Opportunity Knocks

“I am the door: by Me if any man enter in, he shall be saved.” - John 10:9

We need to practice the presence of the Lord this coming year. You’re going to be tempted to rush into life because of the fast pace to which society is stepping. Many doors will open for you. Many doors will close. What will you do? Remember that through it all, Jesus Christ will be behind each and every door as you seek Him with all your heart. He has promised never to leave you, nor forsake you. When the devil comes and knocks at your heart’s door this next year, simply say, “Jesus, please go answer the door.” The Lord is there with us to take care of us.

When the door of opportunity knocks for you today, take a moment to reflect on His goodness, His mercy, and His faithfulness. Trust in Him to give you what you need. God Loves Yas ,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,, Your Friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom,,,Ron... Prayers for you all

Finding Your Contentment In Jesus

Good Mornin ,, Got Snow here in the Riverbottoms this mornin, As I look down towards the river you can see JESUS every where. I looked up towards the north and there stood one of my neighbors mules standing all by his self with nothin else around him. But it made me think ,,That ole mule isnt by hisself , JESUS is standin right there beside him,It was a pretty sight. Lets get to the message for the day. How Beautiful it is Finding Your Contentment in Jesus

“…and be content with such things as ye have: for He hath said, ‘I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.’” - Hebrews 13:5-6

As you face the new year, I want you to find your contentment in Jesus, your companionship in Jesus, and your confidence in Jesus. Then you’ll find your comfort and your courage in Jesus. When you are contented in Jesus and He is closer to you than any one on earth could possibly be; when you are confident in the midst of trials and testing that He will provide…then, and only then, will you know the courage that comes from His comforting presence.

Pray, “Lord, with all my heart, with all I am, I want to know you. I want our relationship to be close and my faith to grow. Cleanse me and make me new that I may be all that You want me to be this year.”God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,, Your Friend In Christ,,, From The Riverbottom,,,Ron... Prayers for all.

The Light Of God"s Countenance

Good Friday Mornin ! Its 8 degrees here with snow on the ground.Thats just a little cold. But theres things to be done outside so Id better get started. Lets get to todays message. The Light of God’s Countenance

“Lord, lift Thou up the light of Thy countenance upon us.” - Psalm 4:6

How easy it is to be deceived when we are not walking in the light of God’s Word. Charles Lindbergh tells about the time he was flying in a dense fog over Newfoundland. He noticed moisture beginning to freeze on the wings of his plane and thought, “This great adventure is going to come to an untimely end. What shall I do?” Then, he had a moment of inspiration. He pulled his plane up and out of the fog and burst into the dazzling sunlight. Have you ever felt like you were living in a fog? Friend, He has a word of encouragement for you. You can get near to the heart of God. His light can shine even in the darkest corner of your heart.

Ask God to shine His light into the darkness of your heart. Ask Him to reveal your doubts and fears. Ask Him to reveal your sin that lies covetously in your heart. Then get ready for a blessing. Draw up close, because when you repent, He’ll reach in with healing forgiveness. God Loves Yas,,,We Love Yas,,,Have a Blessed Day,,, Your Friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom,,,Ron...Prayers for all

Amos 5:14-15

Seek good, not evil, that you may live. Then the Lord God Almighty will be with you, just as you say he is. Hate evil, love good; maintain justice in the courts. Perhaps the Lord God Almighty will have mercy on the remnant of Joseph.

Burning Brightly for The Glory of God

Good Mornin Everyone ! I hope you had a nice weekend .Its Monday and we have lots to do for the LORD this week.Just look at your list and some thin if not everything on yer list will be done for GOD or he will have a connection to it in some way. Lets geter on to the message for this Monday. Burning Brightly for the Glory of God

“And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush.” - Exodus 3:2

Major Ian Thomas has imagined Moses saying something like this when he encountered God in the burning bush: “Would you look at that bush? It just keeps on burning for God. I wish my life could burn for God like that and keep on burning.” Then Major Thomas imagined God replying, “Moses, you think this bush is so wonderful? Do you see that bush over there? I could do the same thing with it. Moses, it’s not the bush—it’s God in the bush. Any old bush will do.”

It’s not you! It’s not me! We are only the vessels of God’s anointing. As you surrender yourself to God today, He will fill you and use you for His glory.

Surrender yourself to God today. And as you do, He will use you. Allow His flame to burn brightly for all to see. Yep he will use you and you will have plenty of time to get yer other things done too. God Loves Yas,,, We Love yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,, Your Friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom,,,Ron...Prayer,, They are so powerful,They work,, Im sendin one for you...

Matthew 6:19-21

“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."

Are You Wondering What God Has Planned

Hello ! It was almost 60 degrees yesterday,Today the same ,But Friday a big ice storm is comin. I dont like ice because nothing will go on ice .so Im planning on going to the store and stockin up on junk food and stayin home this weekend, Lets get to the message for the day. { Are You Wondering What God Has Planned. } God has a destiny for you. He has a purpose and a plan for you. Ephesians 2:10 reminds us, “we are God’s masterpiece … so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” He has something that maximizes your skills, personality, experiences, passions and compassions in a way like no one else ever could.

Sure, it may not happen tomorrow. Nor will you get there by going in a straight line. This is because God sets twists and turns in all our lives that provide opportunities for us to grow, mature, be humbled, learn, develop, surrender, gain confidence and more. I call these twists and turns “detours.”

Detours are unanticipated routes that take us another way to our intended destination. It’s either a sign you come upon, a person who steers you elsewhere or a police car with lights flashing, sitting there to let you know the road you are traveling is no longer available. Inevitably, they are also road bumps to our emotions. Because of the detour, we must go off the beaten path, take longer than we had wished, and be inconvenienced more than we had hoped.

Few of us like to be stalled, for any reason. Even if it’s just someone cutting us off in traffic and forcing us to slow down. But detours are necessary to make any improvement on the paths we travel. Or to clean up any wreck or avoid hazards. Detours are designed for our own good on the roads of life, regardless of how we view them.

Detours are a good thing that often feel bad.

This is because it’s in our detours that we’re developed for our destiny.

We learn patience, compassion, kindness, gratitude and all those wonderful things that empower us to fully live out our dreams. You may feel that your life right now is on one ongoing detour from fulfilling your dreams … while you’re serving the needs of others, setting your own hopes aside. But, just like Joseph whom God positioned from the pit to the palace (read Genesis chapter 37-50), God has a plan for every moment in your life as well. Yes, even the most mundane and monotonous ones.

God is taking you straight to your destiny … in His ever God-like-zig-zagging-sort-of-way.

Father God, help me keep my eyes open and learn to look for Your hand in the midst of happenstance, so my hope remains steadfast and my heart remains full. In Jesus’ Name, Amen. God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,, Your Friend In Christ,,, From The Riverbottom,,,Ron.. Prayers sent for all..

2 Corinthians 5:19-20

God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.

My prayer is that you accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior today!

The First Step To Seting Things Right

Hello everyone ! I just got off my phone talking and geting ready to retire. Its a process that takes a little time.If all works out just maybe I can retire in May.but for now lets get to the message for the day. The First Step to Setting Things Right

“With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.” - Matthew 19:26

The Lord Jesus said, “Moreover if thy brother trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault” (Matthew 18:15). You say, “He’s the one that did wrong. If he wants forgiveness let him come and ask for it.” But Jesus said, “No, you go to him.” Whether you are in the right or whether you are in the wrong, as a child of God, you are to go to that individual. Isn’t that what God did in the Garden of Eden? Adam and Eve sinned against God and the Bible tells us that God came looking for them: “Adam, where art thou?” That was not the voice of a detective. That was the voice of a God Who pursues us to forgive us.

Stop right now and ask God to show you if you have an unforgiving spirit toward someone. Then, in His power and strength, call that person and ask his/her forgiveness. It’s going to be impossible in your strength, but remember, God does the impossible.God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,,Have a Blessed Day,,, Your Friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom,,,Ron... Prayers for all.

Philippians 2:14-16

Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky as you hold firmly to the word of life. And then I will be able to boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor in vain.

Amen!

In The Face Of Discourgement

Hello All. Feels like a spring day out side ,68 degrees for Thursday,Warm all week where did winter go ? Im sure it will be back. Lets get to the message for the day. In the Face of Discouragement and Ridicule
“…He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.” - Philippians 1:6
One evening when I was in high school I overheard my father and a friend of our family talking. “What’s Ron going to do when he gets out of high school?” My dad replied, “Well, he wants to be a police officer." That man just laughed and said, “He won’t make it. He’ll never stick it out. He’ll quit.” This was a man that I admired and respected very much. I almost felt like crying. That’s what the world says about Christians, “They won’t stick it out. They won’t make it.” You see, the devil hasn’t changed his tactics. He’s still mocking and throwing cold water on our walks with the Lord. Get ready. If you don’t feel the flames of ridicule now, just wait.
Have you ever told someone that they wouldn’t amount to anything? Has anyone ever told you? Send those lies back to the pit of hell and rest in the promises of His Word that you are deeply loved and bought with the price of the Savior’s own blood. God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,, Your Friend In Christ,,, From The Riverbottom,,,Ron... Prayers for all.

1 Corinthians 10:13

Brad E. Isaacs
