The old woman and the kid were on the roll tonight we don't have a lot of coons anyway so nights like tonight are unusual first drop they had a single second drop a triple and the third drop a single not bad for a February night here in the mountains and even more amazing I was hunting national forest and everyone around here knows how hard poverty creek gets hunted

I think that they call it Southern "Redbone" Days for a reason. I don't think that you can hunt her there. And we both know that if you did she can't beat the Redbones.

Me and Winnie had a pretty good sat. night. One of the clubs around the house had a buddy hunt, there was some guys that want to try comp hunting but don't know the rules real good so we did a friendly 1 hr hunt and tried to explain the rules to them. There was 13 dogs total with 10 walkers and 3 redbones. Me and one other red got on the same cast. Winnie and shotgun red won our casts. I had 125+ and red had 300+. Then we had a meat hunt, Winnie and red were the only dogs to put meat on the table. We hunted from 8:00 to 4:30 and had a blast the whole time. Hopefully Winnie is ready for SRD.
