I'm proud to announce Ch.Hurricane Creek Tora Bella is now a Grand Show Champion. I get calls and questions all the time about if my dogs are coondogs. The first and foremost part my hounds get, is training to be coonhounds from the time they are weaned, the first thing they do is start training with a coontail and then graduate to a draghide and are in the woods early.
The question should be the dogs you guys are training in the woods nite after nite, do they really comform to the breed standards as well and how much time have you spent training them to show their standards on a bench, it aint easy with some.
My answer is: Bella will be a sure enough finished coondog one day. At this time she is still young and in training, and she is doing well in the woods! Her pups are due anytime now!

The last male pup is going to Oklahoma. I still have Ruck-us for sale. He is a nice male the type everyone is looking for and can be custom fininshed trained to suit each persons hunting style.

I am still going to sell my Show Champion Hurricane AtNite Ruck-us. He is directly out of BTTB BlackHawk and BTTB Snooki.
He still needs alot of work. He is hunting out on his own fairly well. He is not settling at the tree on his own yet the way I like, but I am working with him on that.
He will be a nice hound for someone. If interested give me a call or text. Larry 870-917-7592.

I also have a female pup out of my Nite Ch Dozer and Grand Show Champion Bella I will sell if someone shows up at my door step with the cash in hand. $150.

Well Ive been treein some really fat coons here lately. They have around an inch and a half of fat on them, just average size coons. I think this is a sign we are gonna have an extremly cold winter is yet to come.

Grand Champion Hurricane Creek Tora Bella Won the Grand Champion Class @ the Plainview Sectional Saturday. I had a great time and enjoyed it very much!!

We made a nice cross on Dozer, Charlie Mcpherson's BB female is a coon treeing machine. Nice little female out of his Nt Ch. Hadie.
Pups will be born around first of May.

The full moon has the hunting tough right now in my neck of the woods. There will be some nice crosses being made in the future. Just food for thought, dont forget that Dozer is out of Ragin Skipper on his dam's side. Skipper is a littermate to Iron Mtn. Drum. The Sire of BTTB Tex. I also have a new male pup out of Fletch's Mr. Skipper on his dam's side. Going to make some nice crosses. Also I'm tickled LudaBell is tied for first on the performance dams list.

Well I got LadyBell and Tora Bella qualified as well for the World Show and I am excited about that! Also I finished Rage to Show Champion and I am happy about that! He's coming along nicely in the woods as well.

I'm in the process of trying out a new male pup, he's been treeing coons since he was 5 mnths old. He has a nice horn on him. I'm liking him so far.

We are having a Youth event at the Sheridan Rec Center July 30th. Grant Co coonhunters club. Bring your self and your kid!
Also come on out and show or hunt the Woodlawn Coon club this weekend the 23rd, not to far south of Pine Bluff, in Cleveland County. starts at 7pm.
