Thanks Heather! Yeah we have left three in the trees this year its just I feel if your gonna shoot them use them! I skin everything. It has been a tuff winter to hunt, more snow than ususal and a lot of nights I didnt get to go. Dont kill a lot but that would have been coon #60, the freezer is full havent sold any hides yet. Tell Bob there sure hs been enuff snow to plow this year!!!

AGREE on using what ya shoot..but mistakes happen.. if you're human!

Man its been a cold one I worry some of the coon will freeze. Gonna be late litters this year we never did get a spring thaw. I will have to post pictures of this springs pup projects!

I can't wait for this snow to go. And yeah, hopefully it didn't hurt them too bad. Should be interesting to see the numbers next fall.

Things are going good. Hounds are getting fat and out of shape. My forest Gump male pup out of my litter is a big sucker now. He's looking real good. Can't wait to see how he does this spring on his own. Gunna stay on top of him and get him going good hopefully. He's got a good nose on him and has a lot of potential.

I even got two blueticks from McGinnis. Male and female couple months old with nice mouths on them. Need to find a coon hide to drag for them. I sold all of my hides two weeks ago to john wideman, should've kept a small hide for the pups. Price wasn't great but I didn't wanna wait any longer and take a chance of it never coming back up. Plus the chest freezer was full, I had to put a 25lb weight lifting plate on the door to keep it down. Lol Averaged like $10.70

I'm sure I'll have my hands full with these young guns. It don't look like I'll have a hard time getting these blueticks going. They are little monsters. Haha Maybe someday I'm not doing anything, we'll stop up and see the hounds.

Like the looks of her doug!I am heading to ohio Saturday with Ballz,He has been doing a nice job for me this winter,Got to love these dogs and winter hunting.hunted with an exceptional female saturday.we will be breeding her on her next heat.Good luck with Rae in the hunts she is bred to win

Just waiting on a warmup. Got a nice grandnite Psycho bred female comin up from Ohio to get bred to Speck and picking up a double Adkins Nite Thunder pup at English Days. Rae has a date with Mainstreet Jack when she turns two.

Good luck with your pups I really enjoy watching them develop. I got two five mos old Bluspeck/Mainstreet pups comin to the house for training as soon as this white stuf melts! I will have to get some pics of them on here! Take care!

I cant wait to see them Doug,Good luck with them,I hope we can meet up at english days.when you breed rae,to jack ,I would like a pup or a breeding on itI ,it will cross well on my female i am bringing back out of ballz lots of roy, spike hammer and sgt blue up close.half brother /sister crosses work well. leaving for ohio for a couple of weeks hunt and visit andget the pups out to thier owners,boy this litter wemt fast. I hope all goes well for you and yor family and i am keepin your daughter in my prayers

Monday 3/10

Finally warmed up for a hunt. Took ole Bluspeck up behind the house to blow the dust off since we havent been able to hunt in almost 2 mos. Was suprised the snow was still so deep in parts of the woods. We managed to tree a few.

This is walking into the first tree down into a ravine, Blu usually trees harder than this but hasnt been out for a bit, click on it to play short video. Fun to see the coon tracks in the snow.

Thanks for asking Gayle she has got 13 weeks of chemo done 8 weeks to go then radiation and surgury. She is a heck of alot tougher than me for sure Gayle she has got a great attitude and tries to keep busy. Just gets tired from the chemo and bought some cute wigs. She is waiting for weather to get nice the family bought her a teepee she wanted, the lodgepoles came yesterday she loves to camp and gonna set it up soon and spend as much time as possible outside! Be glad when its all over so she can get to the woods and hear ole Blu tree!
