Bryan, Steve, Trent, and everyone else.

Well how was the first few nights of season for everyone. Wasn't too bad here. Had one bad night I guess. Treed 5 last night and seen 5 more sitting up. Opening night treed 5 and took three. Sunday night only got two and had a crappy night just to get those two.

Corey Junior Shotten and I have been going everynite. We have treed several doubles and triples. Some singles. Annie and Rugar is split treeing some. No slick trees yet. One den. We have taken 10 coon out of 17. The 4 we got lastnite was all boars and pretty big. Id say around 28 to 30lbs. Thats big coon for here.

Since Duane has prostate cancer and has had that worked on he's not hunting. Be the first year he has ever missed opening season. He's bummed!

Annie is 9 and not really showing her age yet. May go again tonite if the wind dies down and no rain.

Saturday night we got seven and saw 13 including two little dinks that Tiki treed. Sunday night we got three Tiki was in on two of those. Monday Tiki treed two by herself and Kitty got one and last night Capri treed four. So all in all it has been going pretty good. Tiki is still huntin hard every time we turn her loose and I think her leg is startin to bed some muscle back up. We will see how it goes tonight.

We've been doing ok here. Opening nite we took Jiggs, Shaker, and Zoey. Only got 1 the first nite but 3 trees, 2 of which still had all the leaves on them so I'm positive they had coon in them by the way they treed.

Sunday nite took Shaker and Zoey, got 2 that nite. First one bout knocked me out, on the way down it hit a limb that tossed it right at me hitting me in the back of the head when I ducked. Instant headache and made me a little loopy for a minute.

Monday nite we took Sassy and Jiggs, they put a big sow up a big den tree and she stayed on the outside. Then Sas treed one by herself. Ran one more and treed but both dogs quit treeing before we got to them.

Last nite took Shaker and Zoey to the same place and got 3 big boars. Finally talked the wife into shooting one, 16 years of being together she finally shot her first coon. She'll kill me for posting her pic, she didn't want her picture taken anyway.

Worked late so I didn't go tonite.

Our hunt sucked tonite. One den and dogs got out of pocket. had to track them. The wind was terrible. We went home then.

I think pella christian got beat friday night. We won 19-5 over Mt Pleasant and are heading to the dome, Made the final 4. Sure cramping my hunting but it's worth it.
