Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! God Bless.

What Would Jesus Do ?

Hello To All !!!! It has been a little while since Ive been on here . I'm so sorry for that ! To tell the truth,I had let other things in my life get ahead and come before JESUS, that is one thing that ,I tell you right now don't ever do.. Ole SATAN jumped right in there and enjoyed keeping me away from MY LORD,MY GOD, and MY WORK FOR GOD. I neglected to do things and did other things. I started feeling so bad , I felt conviction for not doing what I love doing and that is telling others about MY LORD. Ive asked GOD to forgive me for that, and things have gotten back to GOD. I now tell you with my experience. KEEP YOUR EYES LOOKKING UP AND KEEP THEM ON JESUS,,, CAUSE OLE SATAN WILL BE THERE JUST WAITING ON HIS OPPRITUNITY TO LEAD YOU ASTRAY,,, PLEASE KEEP ME IN YOUR PRAYERS.... LETS GET TO THE MESSAGE FOR TODAY... What Would Jesus Do?
“Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.” 1 Corinthians 10:31
Did you know that the best argument for Christianity and the best argument against Christianity is…your life? That’s right. Not only are you to be a witness of and for Jesus, you are to be a part of the evidence of His reality. What would happen if every Christian began to walk as Jesus walked, talk as Jesus talked, and love as Jesus loved? The world would take notice.
Before you say or do anything today, ask yourself, “What Would Jesus Do?” God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have A Blessed Day,,, Your Friend In Christ,,, From The Riverbottom Ron.... It Is Time To Start Saying { MERRY CHRISTMAS !!! } So { MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL !!! } Prayers sent for you !

2 Peter 3:10-11

But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare. Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives.

Amen!

Being Born Again

Hello all ! I cant believe its the end of November and its 65 out side.Well we could be complaining about the cold . Lets get to the message for today... Being Born Again - No Certificate Required
“Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the Word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.” 1 Peter 1:23
A little girl was supposed to take her birth certificate to school. Her mother had solemnly warned her not to lose it because of its tremendous importance, but lose it she did. Later she was sitting on the steps of the school, crying. The janitor asked her what was wrong. She replied, “I lost my excuse for being born.” Now, that’s a funny story, but it has a sobering analogy. You don’t need an excuse for being born again. You have a Savior, and He’s calling your name.
Have you been born again? Have you experienced the cleansing power of Jesus’ blood that washes all your sin away? If not, I invite you to come to Him in repentance and faith. Discover Jesus today. God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,, Your Friend In Christ,,, From The Riverbottom,,,Ron...Prayers for everyone...

John 1:1-2, 14

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Therefore Jesus said again,

“Very truly I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep. I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full."

I am fixin' to carry a very good friend's earthly remains to their final resting place this afternoon..... His fight was courageous and he will he missed by many but his focus was indeed on God the last days of his life.... May Bryan D. Fox reside with our Heavenly Father in heaven above. Amen...

Dependence on God- A Wittness of His Power

Good cold morning , Its 22 degrees here ,I told yas a while back Mr Winter is comeing. Well he has arrived ,,Keep warm ,Lets get to todays message Dependence on God—A Witness of His Power
“But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.”_- 2 Corinthians 4:7
If you’re like most people, you don’t realize your dependency on God until you’re burned out from stress—either self-induced or caused by circumstances beyond your control.
Why is that?
Paul says it’s because we are fragile. But he doesn’t stop there. He says that God made us this way so that His power may be known through us!
Maybe someone told you, “Oh, just tie a knot and hang on!” Sometimes God wants us to let go of the rope because it is keeping us tied down to our destructive habits. We are totally dependent on God so that the love of His Son may be made known to the world.
Get a piece of rope and tie a knot in it. Let it sit on your desk this week as a reminder that God is more than just a knot at the end of the rope. He is the Savior of the World! God Loves Yas ,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day ,,,Your Friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom,,, Ron and { MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL !!! }

Jesus Christ Is The Sin Bearer

Good Mornin, Well,I had a good weekend .It was a cold one here in The Bottoms. But my weekend was great spent with my granddaughter and famly.Ive watched Sophie grow from a small baby to a beautiful 10 year old young lady who loves JESUS. I wish I could slow her down ,because shes gona be growed up and wont wana hang out with pawpaw and mawmaw. I have a few more years till then and Im gona enjoy her every minute. Lets get to the message for the day. Jesus Christ the Sin Bearer
Matthew 26:26-27
The cross is so common in our culture that most people don’t think twice when they see one on a church. But unfortunately, familiarity with the symbol can actually get in the way of understanding what it truly means. So let’s stop to consider how Jesus became the bearer of sin.
We begin with Scripture written long before Jesus was born. Genesis, the first book of the Bible, explains how man chose to disobey God. Because Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit, their descendants are all born under the curse of death, having inherited a sinful “flesh” nature.
In Leviticus, God’s laws for the Jewish nation included observance of Yom Kippur, the day each year when the Israelites fasted, prayed, and sacrificed an animal to atone for sin. In essence, the goat would bear the wrongs done by the people and suffer the penalty that divine justice required.
Centuries later, Isaiah prophesied that a Savior would atone for transgression once and for all (Isa. 53:5, 8; Heb. 7:27). After another 700 years, John the Baptist identified Jesus as the Lamb of God who would take away the sin of the world (John 1:29). The Messiah had come, though He was totally different from what the people expected—so much so, in fact, that they rejected Him and requested His crucifixion.

In all, God gave 613 laws through Moses. But none of us can perfectly follow even the Ten Commandments. In fact, one reason He gave us these rules is to show us our need for a Savior (Ps. 19:7; Gal. 3:24). Meditate on those commands (Ex. 20:1-17), asking God to speak to your heart.God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Your Friend In Christ ,,, Have a Blessed day,,, From The Riverbottoms ,,,Ron ...Prayers for you all { MERRY CHRISTMAS !!!!!!!}

Luke 1:26-28

In the sixth month of Elizabeth’s pregnancy, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. The angel went to her and said,

“Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you.”

Loneliness During The Holidays

Good Mornin Everyone ! Christmas is getin closer ,, What a awesome time of year. I love it. I have been praying for a White Christmas I want one so bad . I would like to see just one more before the good LORD comes to take me home and before my granddaughter out grows her belief in Santa Claus. Maybe GOD will answer my request . Lets get to the message for the day.. Loneliness During the Holidays
“For Thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.” Psalm 116:8
I believe that the holidays are the loneliest time of the year. Everywhere you look, people are told they’re supposed to be happy and they realize they’re not. They see everybody else acting happy, and they feel so lonely. Just walking down the mall can make you feel lonely.
But Jesus has said, “I will never leave thee nor forsake thee” (Hebrews 13:5). When I’m discouraged, His presence sees me through. When I’m lonely His presence cheers me up._ When I’m worried, His presence calms me down. And when I am tempted, His presence will help me out.
Write down the last portion of this devotional thought and personalize it. Now use it as a prayer of faith and trust.God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,, Your Friend In Christ,,, From The Riverbottom,,,Ron ... Prayers sent for you...
