37° but feels like 28°
PGH had a record low on Saturday. I think most of NW PA got snow. Chuck mowed the yard yesterday in his winter coat. I rode my Arab/Standardbred 6.5 miles.
We've had frost or snow almost every day for a week; doubt we'll get any fruit.

I've had an Arab and Arab xs for over 20 yrs so getting use to the Paso head was hard. I'm better with Dolly's than Jericho's. But they are nice horses when you can catch them and they don't buck you off.
Chuck was poutin last night so I talked him into taking a ride to see if we could put some turkeys to bed. We found 4 gobblers and 5 hens. This Am, he couldn't find them, so we went for another ride tonight. Within 8 miles of here, we saw: the 4 gobblers and 5 hens, then another 7 turkeys (they looked like all Jake's) a bear, at least a doz deer, a porcupine, a raccoon and we got home there was a rabbit sitting under his Jeep! Guess there's some wildlife left around here. The bear was limping pretty bad. A guy out that direction posted pictures of a bear at his house with mange. He called the PGC to see if they would trap it.
Gonna be chilly but sunny tomorrow. I"m riding.

No riding or driving today. Looked like rain most if the day, but didn't start until this afternoon. Ruby started having pups at 2:30 this afternoon and wasn't done until 5:30. Mom and 7 pups (4 boys/3 girls) seem to be doing well. By the time, we got supper over with and barnwork done...too tired to do anything else.
I keep my horses barefoot, just had them trimmed last week. I guess HH camping trip is still on. The owner of the campground said they can open May 21. Now my refrigerator isn't working on propane ☹️so I have it scheduled to get checked out Monday.

Do you know the name of the campground? I guess it's better to get your frig fixed now than break down mid week, we sold our big trailer last year, one or two trips a year wasn't worth it we use our little cabin now, everything changes it seems.....

Howdy all windy again & spittin rain got up to 78 yesterday & a half inch of rain, yep broken bones is just part of them scooters but to each his own,I wanted a bike but figured I had a hard enough time keepin 4 wheelers out from under 18 wheels didn't see any better odds on 2 wheels so I decided no motorcycles.

Cotton, the campground is Pine Creek in S Bloomingville OH. It's fairly new.
Propane tanks are full, but hot water heater and fridge aren't working. I have a love/hate relationship with my GN trailer. Love it when everything works, wish I wouldn't have wasted our $ on it when anything goes wrong.... which seems to happen a lot.
We don't ride our Harley much anymore. Kind of scary dodging deer and people talking on cellphones. We go on short trips for ice cream in the evenings. And once or twice a summer, we might take it to the casino. Our backs can't take long rides...it sux to get old.
It rained...sometimes poured here today. A friend and I went to a tack store in NY, it poured there, too. There goes the rest of my stimulas check,. BUT I bought AMERICAN MADE. Took the car right down to my tack shed to unload it.
