Almost 80° here today. We rode 13 miles.
Chuck would rather archery hunt than use a rifle. He's scouting now, it comes in on October 3rd. He said he found a lot if acorns today.

I hauled in a jag of water Sunday & put in the well just to be safe only got 2/10" Sunday night....better than nothin but someday it'll cut loose & we'll have plenty.

just talked to andy(speed) Thomason....he is madder than a wet hen....somebody snuck in and dug his 30 plus year old ginseng patch right out side his back door...he reported it the game warden they came out and seen the damage....lee conover just happened to be camped down by speeds house hmmmmm.bet I can guess who got it....

Sunny & breezy this mornin .... Lee he'd be on my suspect list. Them possum cops ain't on my satisfaction list we never got much satisfaction from the timber theft at the clubhouse.

yea the warden went and had a knock and talk to lee, warden told andy he bet lee had got andy's seng but without more proof they couldnt do a search warrant...
