Sorry but I think this is pretty silly...leave well enough alone already. If you have a coonhound that hunts bear, great...it's still a coonhound. Thats how they began years ago and thats how they are still predominantly used. Are we going to end up with classes for "coon hound", "bear hound", "Cougar hound", "Bobcat hound", "Fisher hound", "Grey fox hound", "Deer hound", "Show Hound", "Couch potato hound", etc? We cant even all agree if a bobcat is small game or big game. Fish and game here in NH considers them small game, as do I. It seems the people who consider a 30 pound cat big game are the ones running them with their "BIG GAME HOUNDS". Such a cool title.
I honestly see all this damaging the breed in the long run. Honestly, I'm not trying to pick a fight with anyone here...but wouldn't all this energy be better spent either fighting and securing hound hunting rights, or doing something for the needy, or kids?
