Zeb/Mini Pups

A special thanks to Dave and Junior for their extra time and efforts in allowing me to get these pups to South Carolina. If not for them, I couldn't have got them here. Junior met me in West Virginia and that cut out alot of driving time. I wasn't sure if the weather would cooperate, but the trip was nice - seen some beautiful country. Dave and Junior - your dogs are extremely impressive and good looking hounds!!! My pups are beutiful as well !!! I will post pix's sometime soon. My name is Mike O'Riley and I live in Conway, SC. I have a litter mate of Bawlie's called Chopper. I liked Bawlie the best but now, I can concentrate on Chopper.

Mike, I have a couple of litter mates to your pups also, so I have a full plate when it comes to pups. I look for great things in the future.

It sure is a pleasure to deal with great guys like Junior and Mike.

I am wanting to hunt Bawlie so bad I can't stand It... But the weather isn't allowing me to do so... The snow has to melt sometime tho...

Best of luck, Junior. Roofus always looked the best when the leaves were off and the other dogs had to take minus for slick trees.

I have been wanting to get Chopper out. I had some good video of Chopper when the camcorder fell out of my pocket the last time I hunted him. OOOPS! Good thing I had more than 1 camcorder.

You will like Bawlie, I sure liked him.

A COON HUNTER"S PRAYER

Dear Lord,
Let me take my dogs to the timber tonight,

Now, I will not care if the luck is poor,

But patiently wait with listening ears,
And say, "Old Roofus and Bawlie are Treed."

Please let the hound voice say the hunt is on,

May the voices of Roofus and Bawlie be heard,
Let my blood run calm and cold.

If the hunt is good, the night a success,
Let me hear them on a tree,
May their tree bark calm the echoing hills,

There are a lot of great "coon dogs" on that pedigree that did not have titles. Dogs like Green's Sam and and Lakeland's Rebecca (Becky) were good for 150 coon a year over 10 years. Lakeland's Curly Sue accounted for 100s of coon and was a great reproducer. Mighty Mouse and Mini Mouse were great coon dogs that you could call on their locate and know they were going to stay there with the meat. Boys, I never was a competition hunter but I have owned plenty of Nite Champion and Grand Nite Champions. Dogs like Sam, Becky, Curly, Mini, and Mouse were as good as coon dogs get and none of them needed any help in any way! There are guys that wish their Grand Nite Champion were as good as these dogs were. I never bred for titles, I bred for ability. I have alot of dogs in Bawlie's pedgree on video.
