I got him out some this kill season. He looked pretty good everytime I took him. Still covers ground fast and gets treed fast with the meat. The Maggie/Moon pups are doing good. Ya im gonna be covered up in pups for the next few months. Got one litter now....two litters on the way and Bree will be bred this weekend. Never raised so many pups that overlap....but we like the crosses. I think that Maggie x Moon cross will be a good one so I hope they go to good homes. Going to be a lot of good redbone crosses this year....we may have to get guys who hunt other breeds but always thought about trying a red to give some of these pups a chance

Jed pups

The Jed pups I had this year are the best looking litter I think I have had. They act very good and have good loud mouths. I am keeping a very nice female for myself ,can't wait to see how she turns on. Named her "Sawblade Bluegrass" going to call her "Grassy" for short.

Hey, Kelly. Nice to hear the Jeb/Ribbon pups are looking and acting good. I haven't had a chance to try and make it down and do some hunting yet. If we ever get a break in this weather and I have time I'll get ahold of you to do some hunting and see those pups. Talk to you later.

Nice! Lord knows a guy needs dogs that can push a track fast to run bobcats. Hope you guys have been having a good season and lifes treating you good man. I haven't been hunting in all this snow we got. My mutts are all fat and out of shape. lol.

Old Jeb is still alive and kicking. Im willing to breed him to select females still too. In other words if you have a female that is a proven coondog and you are interested in Jeb give me a call.

Hi Adam I met you in waynesville pa at zones pushing 10 years ago I had a guy huntin my dog as I was banged up with a broken arm. I'm gonna work with Shane try to get me a jeb x billy jean pup landed up here. I had red ones when I was younger been waiting for the right cross. Heard good things about jeb and iI remember patty being a nice dog. Lookin forward to tryin one

I think Jeb is one of the most under utilized redbone studs in the breed today.
I know location has a lot to do with that...and the fact that his owner doesn't heavily promote him but that should not stop people who want to breed better competition redbones from giving Jeb another look.
I have hunted with Jeb...and with his offspring. I have drawn out with Adam several times and his Grand Nite Champion Maggie female who is out of Jeb is an independent, accurate, coon treeing machine who has won in ukc and PKC against some tough competition. I think Jeb has a lot to offer the redbone breed and if you study his pedigree it isn't hard to see why. I have hunted with several dogs out of his daddy and all had big booming bawl mouths on track and some of the best locates ever hung on a dog. All seemed to have better than average noses and could flat move a track and we're just a joy to listen to...and when they hit the tree...everyone knows it! I have been looking to concentrate more of this type of mouth into the Outlaw and Moonlight line and this is why I have chosen Jeb to breed Gr.Nt.Ch. Outlaw Billy Jean to this time around. She is in heat and should be ready to breed in a few days. She is the mother of Dual Grand Champion All Grand Outlaw G-Man and many other nice up and comers.
This is a line bred cross but not as close as others we have made with success.
Jeb's mother Patty is out of a direct daughter of Outlaw Billy the Kid and Outlaw Timber Girl (who was out of Timber Jack and the same mother as Billy...Outlaw Jesse.) Line breeding on that coupled with Jebs top side which has the best of the Fireball and Timber Jack and Little Man should be a recipe for some next level competition redbones with a very impressive set of skills and outstanding loud houndy mouths that most of us wish our redbones still had these days.
Thanks Adam for all your help in making this happen and I hope more people give Jeb a second look and come to the same conclusion that I have. The breed needs a little more Jeb in the mix ☺

Gr.Nt.Ch. Outlaw Billy Jean has been bred to Jeb and the pups should arrive around July 2nd (during National Redbone Days) when she starts to show about the first week of June I will start taking names of those interested in a pup. B.J. is the mother of G-Man and other winners climbing the ladder. I heard Fred Moran just made a nice purchase of a nice male from the B.J. x Moonlight Woody cross which has produced nearly a whole litter of pups that are treeing their own coons and they are just over a year old now!
Allen Tatum just finished his male from B.J. x JJ jr to nt.ch. and several others are gathering wins around the country as well. This will be a rare opportunity for a lucky few to get a pup with breeding rarely seen from two big winning families of competition redbones!

Well, B.J. is getting big and still has 2 weeks to go so I expect she will have another big litter. They will be performanced and super staked and paid up in both.

Put ole Jeb in a hunt last night. Tough track split from the pack and pulled up with the winning coon. $54 for the split. Sleep was more important then the $18 to hunt it off. Lol
