Oh my goodness, it is over in the USA. Only 14 people died in the last 24 hrs. And New York only started giving the meds this morning. How long will it be before Trump sends everyone back to work and ends the quarantine? This will give the Dems something else to find fault with. It will be either too soon or too late for them.

Main stream media, Fox News keeps a running count of deaths in the last 24 on their news screen. It is up to 20 now. And I watched the Trump interview. He said that he was sending everyone back to work by Easter. You must get your news from CNN.

I'm not trying to make political points here, it just happens that we have 2 very actively divided political parties in the past 3+ years. It happens no matter which party is in office. I think that we don't have to look too far into our country's past to see how suddenly huge numbers of people began to wise up to how our federal representatives are playing games at our expense. Kavanaugh hearings come to mind. Trump's impeachment's blatantly unfair rules come to mind. Currently the hijacking of a bipartisan bill intended to keep people working is in the headlines and more folks are paying attention than ever before because they can see the connection with painful clarity to their own urgent needs.

People who didn't have a clue are beginning to wake up, realize the government isn't their savior and begin relying on themselves for what they need. People who were somewhat oblivious to what goes on around them are now checking to be sure their elderly neighbors have food. What I see when I go to the store (in a resort area populated by people who couldn't boil water without help last year) is not the quickie, overpriced premade meals and fancy things missing from the shelves, it's the prepper stuff. The powdered milk, potatoes, salt, dry beans, rice, batteries and tools are now in demand. Most experienced preppers already have these so it's not them. People are actively seeking out information how to take care of themselves and make things from scratch. Online sites on how to grow your own food, hunt, fish, trap, make your own medicines and the like suddenly have an explosion of followers.

It gives me hope. To me this is beginning to look more like how Americans act - with creativity, resilience, seeking knowledge, questioning what we're told and taking responsibility for our own well-being. There will always be crooks and fools around but at least there is a chance there will be fewer helpless victims.

You could also report that there are only 13,750 people currently infected and in serious or critical condition in the whole world. And that is out of 7.53 Billion people. Or that 1,175 people in the US out of 375 million are in serious or critical condition. Now that is truly mind blowing.

We have 1000 employees all still coming to work every day some say their spouses are off work but they are still exposed to their spouse that dealing with the 1000 employees exposure. Stores are closed at 8pm now so people pack in there before closing time. Kids are out of school and they are running around with their friends. So is any of this helping really? They had us spraying our machines down with disinfectant as we run food grade paper. So I asked if they spayed the computer key board down and the control buttons down. Oh no! That could mess something up. So they realize they where wasting their time.

Oh my goodness, I saw where the # of deaths in Italy was dropping for the last 4-5 days and the Gov of New York said that the increase in the # of deaths in New York had dropped for the last 3-4 days so I thought that maybe the curve in the US had peaked.

I sure hope we wake up and begin manufacturing these medicines and supplies back in America. For years we were all screaming to buy American made products.
