Another bright moon & cold this mornin. I wouldn't set in a tree stand this mornin for a 70 pt. buck that weighted 700 lbs & field dressed 1,000 lb.

LOL...that wouldn't work either. They're definitely afraid of lights shining. We rode through an old train tunnel a couple of yrs ago with flashlights. We had to ride back thru it, it was a bad ride both ways. I thought Jericho was going to bolt. I guess I should go back a few more times, if we don't get killed, I might be able to take him coon hunting. 😉

Happy Belated Birthday, Rex.

It's been chilly here. It snowed the night before last. Still have a little on the ground. We got 12 traps set today, hope we have 2 bobcats, 2 fishers and 8 coyotes in them tomorrow 😀, if not we'll set more 😉

It's not looking good for a white Christmas for us. The weatherman is predicting 78 degrees Christmas day and 80 on the 26th.

We had a bobcat this morning. It rained most of the night and was raining when we checked traps so it was a wet muddy mess. One place we have traps, Chuck goes one way and I go the other. When I got back to the Jeep, he was there looking for his key. He said he lost it. After almost 15 minutes, I called and texted my friend, we kept looking for about 10 more minutes while we were waiting to hear back from her. I decided to try to call our neighbor, while I was giving her directions, I noticed the key was in the ignition!!

When I went to get an extra key made for my truck, the guy told me some cost over $100 to make. I was lucky mine was $38. It was more than I thought it should be though, I can be kind of cheap, if I'm not buying something for a horse, dog or on a casino trip.
