I have seen Pastor Mike on the dark side I spent a week up north learning all kinds of new outlawing tricks man he has got y'all fooled he maybe the biggest outlaw in the cartel and that's saying a lot with Lambert and Linkous in the cartel me I am a law abiding citizen

Thanks Jesse. I had a great time Friday night, we had a good cast and guide and it was an enjoyable time. Dogs are dogs and tough breaks are just a part of competition hunting, ask Richard about that..

A raise would be great, especially since they don't pay me anything..

Yep...sure did and I'm glad there isn't video.......I don't get spooked often but that booger caused me to jump about 3 feet and scream like a girl........

I'm not sure. I haven't had time to look at the pictures I took. I know I got the camper and such but can't remember if I took any of the dogs.

I got a picture of the Haze man himself! You can tell he's used to getting his picture taken, when a UKC man comes around with a camera he can't help but pose for his picture! LOL

Nice Picture Corey. Probably will be the last time that Haze will make a trip like that. I think he enjoyed himself. He got a lot of pats on the head from folks walking by. He didn't know any strangers..

Hope the cross goes great for you guys.

Had a good hunt tonight with Frog and Stella. It was real humid but they got the job done. Stella looked pretty darn good. Held her own tree for over 15 minutes with quite a bit of pressure until we got there. Stella is a real nice young prospect with a bright future ahead of her.

Stella looked pretty good in a hunt last night. We had a dead cast. If I would have trusted her, most likely she would have come out with a win but that is the way it goes. She competed against an 8 year old blue dog, a 6 year old black & tan and a 16 month old walker, so we had a colorful cast.

Congrats to Bob Jackson and his female, Hazel, on getting a first place win tonight in Michigan. This win finished Hazel to Nite Champion. She finished with two firsts and a second, and she is qualified for the world hunt this year. Nice job Bob and congrats on your success. Hazel is out of Haze and Daisy.

Teenagers first hunt

I had the pleasure tonight to take one of our 13 year olds from our youth ministry out for his first coon hunt. It was late and the possibility of more storms so I just loaded up frog and went across from the house. I thought we were going to strike out but frog got in pretty good and actually went where I didn't want her to. We were going to try and get her when she opened up with a locate and rolled it over. She was on the next property, which I do have permission to retrieve but not to turn loose there. Well, she was treed just in front of a house but down in the woods a bit. She was in a big popular tree. So I had the boy hold frog on the leash at the tree while I went up the ridge to find the coon, it didn't take long to find him. He came up to me and he got to see that glowing set of eyes looking back at him. I think it freaked him out cause we couldn't see the coons body and he had never really had eyes looking at him like that before. Lol. He had a great time and frog came through with a lay up coon. The lights were on in that house but no one came out. It was a fun hunt. Will probably take him tomorrow night too.

Allison and I are enjoying our anniversary weekend. This is the first time we have been able to go away for our anniversary in over 10 years. Once we get back I will be getting Stella ready for some hunts coming up in August.

Allison and I finally got home this afternoon, just in time to feed and head to the church for our youth ministry. It was a good night. Have youth again tomorrow night, taking a large group of them to carowinds on Friday, have a wedding Saturday, church on Sunday. It's a full week. So, I will be hitting the woods possibly Saturday night. Hope everyone had a good weekend.

It's been a busy 10 days. I was going to hunt tonight but I realized a little while ago that I'm just plain wore out and the week starts all over again tomorrow. So, I'm going to be an internet hunter tonight.

In other news, I received word the other night that Haze is a daddy again. Looking forward to see how the cross turns out. A very nice hunting cross with reproducers stacked in the pedigree. The mother is a Nite ch and will make dual grand. I saw a few pictures the other night and the pups look good.

Good luck with your litter Carlos.

Had a good hunt tonight. Took a young 13 year old boy from our youth ministry. After treeing one, frog and Stella hunted over an hour and never struck another.

5 minutes after getting back to the truck, the young man must have been wiped out....lol.....he went to sleep slumping over in the front seat. It was funny watching him go from side to side on our curvy roads.

. guess we will have to wait and see. I believe that haze will pick up a few Nite champs by the end of the year though.
