We'll definitely hit the brush together again. I've got to focus on these young dogs this winter myself. Mike Elberfeld called me last night and his Minnie female passed away. The last picture I posted was taken about 3 years ago. In the picture was Minnie, Clyde, Jimmy, & Sparkle. Out of the 4 dogs, only Jimmy is still with us now and as you saw the other night, he's not as strong as he used to be. Time to focus on the next generation.

I hope Little Jimmy's value goes up a lot more than that in the future. I need to get some updated pictures of the pups we kept out of that litter. Good looking, nice acting bunch of pups. I've got my eye on one of the females that moves extremely well. Just hope she has the ability to go along with it and she could be special.
I'm one that goes with the theory that most pups favor grandparents and aunts and uncles more than the parents. OV Jimmy seems like an exception to the rule, his pups are a whole lot like him in actions, looks, mannerisms, personality, etc with just a little difference between 1/2 sisters and brothers. Time will tell if that dominance follows into the woods.

I am sure Jimmy will do alright. I am going to start hunting Luke with his Mom here soon. I look for Luke to be something I will like. He sounds just like Lou with a screaming Bawl and a loud hard chop. Hard to tell them a part in the Kennel. He's a nice looking pup. Named him after Wilburn's Luke dog. Thanks Dave. I'm basically getting down to all younger dogs so I'll need all the luck I can get. Only older dog I am keeping is Ohio Valley Jimmy. Looking forward to next year getting moved back to the home place, hunting young dogs, and starting pups.

Hopefully I let the right one go to the right person. I think JJ is Dual Grand material and Dakota volunteered to take him there for me! Can't beat that. I just hope we are right about him. I really appreciate Dakota doing what he is doing and I hope JJ does his part to make Dakota proud of what is on the end of his leash when he gets done with JJ. Me and Troy still have WAY too many dogs to hunt. lol.

We got a couple bench shows coming up. I've had him on the kNuckle board a couple times. He holds him self like a champ. Gotta love taking a dog tht has only been out up a couple times n they take rite to it like they have done it for years. I'll post pics of him on the bench tommarow.
