SuperDave, I hated to leave John's. He sure can cook! My wife is on a diet and times are tough around here. Buck told me how Dr Laster got Hurnie to eat.

I know the cure Richard if you haven't been eating well.......just some good ole protein cooked on the grill with some fat trimmings.

Now Moose has no problem eating but I will give him a treat or two each day.

When I go to the store to get some of that "protein" do I ask for a Ribeye?

Buck,
I know when you came into the store the other night, you were worried. I had a female that had blasto about 20 years ago, science and technology have gotten better since then, but the Good Lord has your hounds in his hands, and what better hands could they be in! I hope they all get well soon! Prayers sent my friend! Your friend in hunting! Greg Kemp

Update

Will most likely post a couple of pics tonight of Da Moose and Hurnie. Hurnie is doing very good and has gained a lot of weight back and is looking great.

Moose is starting to put some weight on now which is a great sign. He will be blind in one eye though so we'll have to get him a eye patch and call him "Arrrgggg Da Moose".

I believe that Moose will pull through but only time will tell what type of permanent damage was done because of the Blastomycosis.

When I post the pics I will reposts bucks pics of him when he first got him back from the vet so we can compare.

well.....here are some before and now pics of Da Moose.

Da Moose right after Buck got him home from the Vet.

Da Moose now after about 3 weeks here at my house.

I think this is huge improvement and major progress for Da Moose. It's hard to believe the difference in just a few weeks. I believe Moose is well on his way to recovery.

Da Moose really is doing good. Thanks for well wishes for him.

Da Moose must be recuperating quickly with all of that great care. I hear that he got #4 Ch bench show win Sat afternoon. I guess that he is still undefeated on the bench. Y'all need to start a rehab hospital/kennel for coon dogs. Get someone to set him up on a bench and take an after picture. Send him back down here when you get him all fattened up and I will get him back in shape. If he keeps this up, he should be ready to hit the woods the first of August. King/Queen Kong/Expo/Fast Ball will be 6 weeks old then and ready to turn loose also. I hear that swimming is supposed to be good for rehab.

WOW!

That bench shot is amazing! I KNOW he is still thin... but you get a perfect view of his bone structure. GOOD luck on that last win...and getting him HEALTHY again!

Bob gives thumbs up as well! Nice job,

Heather

UP DATE

Da Moose is doing so good that I do wont to turn him loose. The Vet told me that the heat will be very hard on Moose. I will get him out on a cooler night and get some up to date pictures. Pastor Mike will try to get his last win on the bench this up coming weekend. I will get Moose back out this fall. We will hit the hunt's hard 2012 as long as he is in good health.
