DA KID

I HAD TO PUT AN ANCHOR LINE ON HIM TONIGHT. WHEN I GOT TO HIM, HE WOULD LEAVE ONE TREE AND GO TO ANOTHER. GET THERE AND HE GOES TO A THIRD TREE. AS I'D GET ALMOST TO HIM , HE'D QUIT TREEIN' AND GO TO ONE OF THE OTHER TREES. LAST TIME HE DID THIS SHE-IT, I FOUND A LITTLE BLACK POSSUM IN THE MIDDLE. I FINALLY CORNERED HIM AT ONE OF THE LITTLE TREES AND LEASHED HIM. MEAT IN THE TOP. WHILE LININ' UP ON HIM I SEE ANOTHER COON IN ONE OF THE OTHER TREES HE WAS ON. CHECKED THIRD TREE AND THERE WAS ONE THERE ALSO. ALL WITHIN 25 YARDS OF ONE ANOTHER AND NONE TOUCHIN'. IN A COMPETITION HUNT HE WOULD HAVE MINUSED OUT RIGHT THERE.

Skinny coon

They have got to be three of the skinniest coon I have ever seen...... Sure glad you don't depend on the size of those coon to feed the family and keep the lights turned on. I heard through the grape vine that the "Kid" don't care how big they are as long as they smell like coon. Lucas
