Voyd I thought you were out of town of something and that was why Joe was at Troy's.

We bred Ruby to Zep but it didnt go to good. He couldn't get her so we took them to vet in Atoka and had her AI'd but I was not impressed with the vet and the way she done things but I am sure she knows way more about than me so hopefully I will get about 8 puppies in 63 days

OSU.. I had a Vet ask me what a vet was called that graduated last in their class. I answered NO, he informed me that regargdless how incompetent they are they are still called DOCTOR.

Yeah , but ai'ing with both dogs there has alot of room for error and still get you pups .. I've ai'd a half dozen gyps like that myself and only once didn't have a good litter .... good luck

I have hunted with both these dogs alot and they are different in some ways but alot alike in the important ways. When they strike a track they are moving not staying in one place and wallowing it around and by moving it i mean faster than most dogs can. And when they get treed they are staying treed under all kinds of pressure. And they tree coon not trees.

Roger, Thanks for pointing out my spelling errors. I don’t think that is the first time I have done that. you been in Gov., to long pointing out peoples mistakes like that in public. LOL

Voyd: I was pretty sure it had to be MU; none the less talking about Missouri I was kind of glad to see them join the SEC. I think both the Big 12 and SEC will see drastic improvements in their avg academic scores. jk lol

We did have both the sire and Dam present for the AIing I sure it went better than I feel about it. I would sure like to have 8 puppies in 62 days now.

I will be making a trip to Texas in the next couple months and I'm a avid competition hunter. I'm looking for a top notch pup out of the echo line that I can push in the big hunts if he turns out. What are the top up coming crosses I prefer line bread and first cross thanks.

Just wanted to say thanks to all that have pm'em me and was willing to do what was needed to get Alice bred to a nice Echo bred hound. I appreciate your time and willingness to go out of your way in full filling my needs. As we all know I have to choose just one and there is not alot of reasoning behind it other than the way the hound is bred, his looks and overall confirmation and the way he performs in the timber and described to me. Yes, not quite the way to go about it but this time around, it's going to have to do! The echo line of hounds sure are pleasing to the eyes and lots of good choices if one chooses to go that direction. If all goes well with a cross on Alice, Alice II will be the next in line to breed to another Echo bred hound on down the road. She's a real nice young hound. Troy has put alot of time and effort behind this line of hounds and his hard work has paid off. My choice is Backwoods Tuff Enough Joe. I want to thank these two guys who own Joe, Troy Sheffield and Bodie Cannon, but most important, Voyd Cannon for bringing him to my attention. The plan to make this happen is set and soon will be completed in hopes of bringing some Echo blood to northeastern ohio for me to work with. Again guys, thanks for everything, Danny G.

Danny, I'm sure Troy and Bodie are pleased to have someone choose their dog to use on a female of Alice's caliber.

Joe is about as close to Echo as any dog out there.

Without you taking the time to talk with me on the phone, more than likely I would have never known of Joe. As far as Alice, she's back here for a reason. She's not perfect but does come from a very proven cross and has reproduced a real nice litter of pups that are getting it done in the timber. Alice is a coon tree'er, were she lacks in my opinion, she'll go deep, just needs to get there a bit quicker when she needs to and of course, you can never have enough track speed and get go for me! The harder they go, the more I like them!! Super quick to locate and good at having the coons. She's the best I have owned when it comes to getting her head up and getting under a coon that's laid up and I've owned a few good ones. Most would always track, then tree!! If a guys going to go out and make an outcross, what she is and where she comes from and has to offer, she's the one to make it happen. I talked with Dr. Wynn, we're on the same page. When she starts to come in, we'll get together and get this done. Dr. Wynn takes debit cards so the payment for his service will be easy. If we get balance in the cross, we'll get some winners!! Any of these Echo bred studs would prolly work good on ur female. But what I've heard about joe is he is a nice hound quick on track and tree him off his locate and look at a coon when u do.
