Boone

Jason got his first on Squirt tonight. Sky started out really well, then I screwed up. I need to get her back in shape. Kinda figured that goin over there, but figured its another 2 hours she got on her, and got me some more experience.

That would be a great name but my buddy dave just named his boy Gunner. How about Dutch Hollow Blue Sarge. Amy was watch army wives last night and came up with that. So if you don't like it you can tell her.

Darren
Not going to make this troy hunt. going to fall festival 3-D Shoot and camping up there for the weekend. Give me a call sometime I'd like to hear them.

Momma's Boy did an excellent job on his first caged coon. Waggs did ok, but they are both still young. Not bad for a couple of 5 month old pups anyway.

Looks good Steve. sounds like mamma's boy has a decent mouth. This fall they should be ready to hit the timber. Did you hunt at troy last weekend.

Stuffy, I haven't put Jiggs in any hunts. My dad has been talking about trying his hand at comp. hunts.

Corey, last weekend was the YEP event. Tonite is the minislam, but I'm going to the RQE at Elizabeth, Il. then picking Sas up from Perry's.

Jason is right Corey Sky got 2nd. I came back with 175+, and the dog that won came back with 275+. Should have had it but her handler isn't the best, and she left one tree. She split treed and had the coon on her second tree and had first strike and tree on her second one and got backed and had it on the outside again. She was split on the first dump, and her ears got the best of her. Didn't come in and tree, but took a 125- anyway. I'm still real happy. A little more work with Kaizer and he will be benching like a pro, but once again handler had to learn some new tricks today.

Saturday Night

I didn't hunt Saturday night. Sky cut herself pretty deep in her left armpit Friday night. I guided a cast, and wished like heck by the time I listened to the dogs in the cast I guided I took her cut or not.

That stinks. Better bring her down to bussey next weekend.

Steve
I never thought of that. I met a lot of riders between FM and West Point. I was pretty jealous.
