Oh my goodness, when the going gets tough, the tough get going! You need to get that dog back in the woods and quit babying him. You have made such a spoiled wimp out of him that he probably won't even hunt now. You need to let Bond and SuperDave come and take him for a couple of weeks.

Someone else is in heat around my house. Buck didn't realize it but it makes sense now cause the female kept getting into the next pen. I wonder who this female is???? I guess we will find out if Da Moose will be able to make pups....

 DA Moose and Pigeon

Moose has bred the old girl twice now and I'm sure he'll breed her a couple more times......she's a little loose ya know.. Hopefully we can get a few pups from this cross.

Pigeon is an excellent reproducer and Moose is bred right and his pups from his only litter are doing excellent in the woods.

Pigeon is now on the historical reproducers list, so maybe it won't be long now til she'll be back on the current. This should be a very nice cross.

 Da Moose is headed to the Woods

Buck is on the way over, he is going to sit in the truck while I take Moose for a drop. This will be the first time Moose has been to the woods since before he got sick. It's about 80 degrees so we'll see how he holds up. Will just hunt him for about 30 minutes or so unless he works a cold track or something. Possibly some pics later.

Well......I was proud of Da Moose and Da Buck tonight. Buck made it to the tree.....and it's a good thing....my light went dead while taking pictures of Da Moose.
Da Moose worked an old track and finally came treed with the DA MEAT!!! Moose is on his way back...

SuperDave, my money is still on Chick and the Pro Handler. Moose looks like a 3rd string football player who has just come in to the game off of the bench, all slick and clean and his collar is all shiny. Y'all would have to take a picture of his "bad" side with that cloudy white eyeball. Did he run into any trees?
