I heard from Bob Lewis this mornig. His very words, I've never had a dog tree harder than or louder than Rocket. You don't have any trouble calling him treed and he ain't leaving. Rocket is 5 months old guy's.
There was 9 pups in that litter. I have talked (VIA) text with Ben Sellers, Mike Mathews, Scott Stephens, and Wayne Dainells. They all have pups from this litter. And they are all VERY pleased with them. I hope to hear from the other 4 pups soon.

I have had a few come through here in the past year. 3 off them remind me of him at this age. 1 got run over 4 miles from where we cut him at 8 months of age after had already treed a coon on that drop. The other got killed by yotes on the tree at 10 months. The other was ayoung walker male that i just bought back because the guys were not hunting him like they said they would. He is impressive. There is no doubt in my mind I could take him with an old dog and he would be on the side of the tree his first time out. He still alittle young for my taste. I will put him in the woods this week with an old dog and just see what will happen. No need to burn him out though

Thanks for the updates guy's. These Deuce pup are turning it on. I get calls and messages almost every day. I wish Jason and I had 20 pups right now. I could move all I could get my hands on. Hopefuly there will be a few more nice females put under him this spring. We plan to breed our three females as they come into season.
Richard it sounds like you guys had a ball this past weekend. I wish I could have been there.

Richard I would hate for you to sell him to just anybody. He is the type hound that should be put up front and center.
There are a few more Deuce pups that are a lot like him. Im just hoping and wishing there owners will put them in the publics eye so we can see just what they are.
As soon as we get Gingers papers lined out I will put out there for the world to see. She is the real deal.

Dan wins again, I got a message from Scott Hance this morning. Dan picked up a little more $KC cash lastnight. Dan is a real nice young hound. And Scott and Luther Hance are fine folks. Way to go Scott, make um see RED.

This is a picture from the Ar state hunt last year where Dan won two cast.

That's right Dale, he was just a babe then. He is growing into a COONDOG.He has a lot to learn, but he is a tough little hound now. I figure at four years old he will be awesome.
His sister Ginger is the real deal too. You seen her go over in the WWR. I hunted her all winter. I shot a pile of coon out to her. I hope to be feeding her again soon.
The Sterkis brothers have a pair of pup from that litter also. The last I heard from Josh he told me the male pup was ready.

I hear and see on this web site about some get gone , get treed, And stay put treedogs,. Well if that is what you are looking for our GRNTCH BEAR'S CROSSCOUNTRY RED DEUCE is throwing just what you need into his pups.
Deuce finished to GRNTCH in 11 hunts as a two year old. Down here is SE Arkansas there ain't many reddogs to chose from. If you have a good female you think you would like to breed to Deuce. Give me a call, I will be more than glad to work with you all I can to get it done.
He is a 2013 Performance sire.
He ain''t no freak, he was bred to be what he is.
