Thanks for taking a look at that Tim. I talked to Wes Wall and Rob Brooks yesterday and what they had to say made me even more sure that I'm making the right decision. I would like to wait a little longer but time is running short on getting this done so Lord willing and the creeks don't rise, I'm gonna get it done in 2014.

PJ Spangler called today to tell me that his 9 month old female out of Ohio Valley Jimmy and Skeeter treed her first coon last night. He said she ran and treed with the old dogs and had her first coon knocked out to her and then about an hour later treed her first coon by herself. These were the first coon that she has seen. Doing it completely natural.

I hunted Crystal and Ohio Valley Jimmy the other night. She is out of OV Jimmy and Little Lou and is a sister to the JJ male Dakota has. She has been out 4 or 5 times and is running and treeing like an old dog and has not had a coon knocked out to her.

I like what the old dog is throwing. Him not being titled is my fault, not his, and is a mistake that I hope to not make again. If someone would like to use him as a stud, don't hesitate to call me.

Speaking of not making the same mistake again on not giving a dog the opportunity to title out, I now own a male out of Clear River Diamond Jimmy and Dual Grand Smokey River Git'R'Done Maxy HTX2. He has a first and a fifth and I hope to get him finished to Nt Ch this spring. May do a first cousin cross with him in the future on a female out of Ohio Valley Blue Diamond Jimmy. If anyone would have an interest in this type of cross, please let me know.

Ohio Valley Blue Diamond Jimmy HTX and Ohio Valley Blue Crystal (Ohio Valley Jimmy x Gr Ch B&D's Blue Little Lou). Jimmy is 10 1/2 but I still break him out every once in awhile. Crystal hasn't been hunted much but acts like she has been hunted more than a handful of times. She's a keeper.

JT Bradshaw from Texas called and is really pleased with his male out of Ohio Valley Blue Diamond Jimmy and Little Lou. Said he is going to hit the hunts with him this year. Best of luck JT.

PJ Spangler called and is really excited about the natural ability of his female out of Ohio Valley Blue Diamond Jimmy and Skeeter. There is no doubt in my mind that there is a coon dog in the making there.

Tyler Bowman said he took our 3 1/2 month old pup out of OV Jimmy and RT Stuart's and Ken Zuspan's Angel female for a walk in the woods. He said T-Rex treed a house cat while they were out in the woods. Tyler said he was surprised how easily the pup went to treeing. Totally natural. RT had to pen that litter up at 2 months of age because they were traveling up to a mile from the house and people he knew were bringing them back to his house. lol.

Ohio Valley Jimmy has been a pleasure to hunt and own. Now he looks like he is doing his job in the stud pen. Although the majority of his pups are still young, it looks like he is going to give me and others some dogs to enjoy in the future. Couldn't be happier with him. I'd like to thank Roy Puckett for being a friend and giving me a chance to own and enjoy Jimmy over the last few years.

Layton Stott from Maryland called and is going to be bringing his Granny female down to try again to breed to Ohio Valley Jimmy. We tried last year and she ended up with false pregnancy but no pups. I'm really hoping we can get her bred a couple times this year and she catches. That could be an outstanding cross with the dogs behind her and Jimmy and the way that they line up. Granny is a beautiful female with an outstanding mouth from an outstanding cross. Could be some very special offspring come from her and Jimmy. I'm crossing my fingers and saying a little prayer.

Layton brought her down Monday and she was still dripping but I got her bred last night. Going to try at least one more time. I feel that cross could produce some top notch hounds with huge horns on them. She is a real good looking, well built female with a real nice mouth.

Congratulations to David Smith on his first place win tonight and finishing Smith's Powerful Blue Jewel to Night Champion. She is also either a PKC champion or close to it now. David has done a really great job with Jewel and I wish him more continued success with her.

Thanks John. Last nite was a blue dog night. Jewel won registered and a pup out of Zach Bowens Deuce dog got a Nt Ch win. I ain't gonna lie to ya I loved every minute of it lol.

Got to love those nights when the Blue dogs shine. Congrats on your PKC cast win the other night also. $7 more to make PKC Champion. Way to go. She's on a roll. Her brother Max looked good Saturday night. I hope I can talk you into handling him for me and finishing him to Nt Ch for me. lol. I don't know whether I can handle the hunts again or not. I'm going to try though. Just hope I can draw some good people and have some fun when I do enter. We'll get together and take a hunt soon.
