I haven't had much time to post anything about the dogs much lately.... slammed at work and spending every spare minute I'm not sleeping or working training up the next generation of young dogs and checking their oil in competition. Lots of promising reports coming in on litters we have raised over the past couple years that are just getting their feet wet in competition.
Our oldest foundation female...Grand Nite Champion KY Moonlight Breanna is still turning out competition winners.
Just in the past 3 months four different young dogs out of her and 3 different males made Nite Champion for a total of 9 titled dogs...3 of which are Grand Nite Champions and although the reproducer lists don't show it yet...she is the current #1 reproducing Redbone female and climbing the historical list at a steady pace. She also has at least 2 more offspring that just need a place to title out so she will continue to climb. We have two really nice prospects out of her that have yet to be entered into their first competition hunts but we feel they will be impressive winners when they do.
Oh....and there are at least 5 pups off of Bree who have won a total of almost $7,000.00 in the money hunts...for those who want to use that measuring stick
GR.Nt.Ch. Outlaw Billy Jean also continues to show her ability to reproduce winners with three more of her offspring winning in UKC competition and placing her in the top 5 for performance point dams.
B.J. pups have also won right at $11,000.00 in money hunts for those who like to judge by that standard
When all the Bree pups and their wins are finally caught up and totaled...Breanna should be high on that list for the 3rd straight year.
And then there is Gr.Nt.Ch. Outlaw Cherry Bomb...(Probably Breanna's most famous and biggest winning daughter.....not only is she still reproducing winners...she is still winning at big hunts herself between litters. You can drop Cherry anywhere in the country (and I have) and she will show you real live raccoons alone or in any company.
And then there is Gr.Nt.Ch. Outlaw Breeze...Cherry's less well know but equally hard to beat littermate sister. Both her and Cherry are excellent mothers and are a very important part of our breeding program.
Cherry just recently had 14 pups out of Dual Grand Champion Moonlight Aftershock and raised 12 ( by the way...still have a few choice males available)
And Breeze is due to whelp pups mid September out of Aubrey and Ann Butler's outstanding Quad Grand Champion Ox dog (possibly the only living Quad Grand?)
So for all the folks that's been asking if I'm still alive and what's going on with our program.... just wanted to say it's on track, we are always hard at it whether we are posting on here or not. We train our dogs on real live wild raccoons in their natural habitat....and we breed and train them to be winners. Good luck to everyone who is hard at it in the heat and humidity. The coons are in the corn and cooler weather is right around the corner....so stay with it and finish em out right!
