You must have seen that on CNN. I actually watched it live and unedited. I also watched/saw the remarks from the scientist who did the study that prompted the remarks. It is amazing how CNN can twist around everything Trump says. It is just like they turned around what Fauci said he thought was going to happen this Fall.

You can add ABC to the list of fake news outlets. They reported on their nightly evening news that Trump encouraged people to drink disinfectant. How is that for distortion. Only a Homer Simpson dumbrat could get that Trump "encouraged" anyone from what he actually said.
That is how the Fake News outlets work. First a CNN reporter who wasn't at and didn't watch the actual briefing says that Trump said that drinking disinfectant might kill Carona Virus. Then ABC reports that CNN reported that Trump suggested that people should drink disinfectant even though they know that isn't what he really said. Now NBC will report that ABC reported that Trump told people to drink Lysol. The fake news reporters are either about as smart as Homer Simpson or they know what they are doing and do it on purpose.

That is how the whole Russian Conspiracy got started. The Dumbrats paid a foreign news outlet to come up with and publish a fake news report. Then the Fake News started running reports that Trump was a Russian agent/spy citing the Fake report. Then the FBI had to investigate because of all of the Fake News reports. Then the Dumbrats in Congress tried to impeach Trump just because the FBI investigated him, even though the FBI couldn't find any evidence that he had done anything wrong. And people wonder why Trump calls the whole thing a hoax.
