Rabble has another Nt Ch on her way to Grand. Nt Ch Willow has 3 Nt Ch wins now. I wonder if any stud has ever produced 14 Gr Nt Ch's before?

Willow

Buck left a message today and said he got a win on her. I hope she can get it done, she's good enough for that kind of title. I know she has overheated one night hunting but hopefully it won't hold her completely down so she can finish.

Tim...the dogs look real good...great looking bunch. It's good to see Deacon out and about.

We're in the middle of our gun deer hunting season so we're laid up for a week or so. It's supposed to get up to 60 this week for a couple of days and then be followed with days where the high is going to be low 30s...big changes...eh?

Had good luck deer hunting today...got a big doe and a decent buck.

We'll look forward to getting back at it after the gun season is done.

It was in the 50s today...heck of a deal for the first day of gun deer hunting. I'm not complaining but walking even a little ways will wear you out when it's that warm.

Dave's son Chase is a good coon hunter but he's also got a knack for bagging deer. He got a nice doe during youth season and this morning at 8:30 AM...he bagged this dandy.

Nice job Chase, you're a regular buck slayer for sure....

Nice one Tom tell Chase congrads

What?????

I don't know what you guys are talking about...I was thinking that I cut a pretty good figure right there...like a real serious hunter type...

That buck probably thought I was kind of funky looking too...ha...surprise on him...eh? I think he figured out too late that I wasn't as harmless as I looked cuz I blasted him and there he is...in the back of the truck

Pups

Cherry had 5 pups on Nov 18, the second day of gun deer hunting.

She has 4 males and 1 female and all are doing good at this point.

There have been several inquiries into getting one of these pups. I believe that there are a couple available yet, depending on what Dave G. wants...if he wants one. I'm going to keep one back, maybe the female...I don't know...she's one of a kind...eh?

I'll have updates on these pups as we go.

That's a fine looking pair of young hounds Buck...mighty fine!

Both of them are off to a great start and both have great looks to boot.

It has been warm up here...almost too warm but it has given me lots of time to get wood cut and hauled in so I guess nothing to complain about. If Dave ever gets the freezer emptied out...we'll be back at it before the weather takes a turn for the worse...

I like seeing those youngsters getting with the program...there's a good mix of blood in those pups....don't lose track of it.

Solberg Family

We would like to thank all of Tom's friends in the coon hunting fraternity that have prayed for his speedy recovery. If you know Tom, he does not back down from any challenge that has been put in front of him, and this is going to be a challenge that I know he will end up winning with his will power and determination.

Tom has been put into a short term nursing home facility where he is getting physical and speech therapy. He has been improving rapidly over the last few days thanks to your thoughts and prayers, and his determination to get back home as soon as possible. A few of his good friends and local hunting buddies have already visited him at his new room. We appreciate it very much. Thank you again for everything you have done for Tom. May God bless you all.

His address is :
Tri-County Memorial Nursing Home
18601 Lincoln St.
Whitehall, WI 54773
Room 334
