At Stud... Nt.Ch.Gr.Ch.Swampmusic Big Hoss.

We are excited to offer Hoss for stud, he is our 4th generation stud dog. We are looking forward to him following in the footsteps of his sire Gr.Ch. Swampmusic Pride, his grand sire Gr.Ch. Swampmusic Boone and his great grand sire Gr.Nt.Ch.Gr.Ch. Dohoney's Lobo.

Hoss can and has struck coon out of the dogbox as I drive down the rd at 55mph, my dogbox is proof of it. I've had him hit the tailgate winding a coon as soon as he comes out of the box. Hoss hunts out 250 - 300 yards then he hunts back towards you. When you send him back out the second time he'll hunt out about 600 yards and hunt back towards you. He usually gets treed where you turn him loose.

I've seen him strike a track I know was 2 hours old and move it out like it was a hot track and get treed with the meat.

He isn't perfect by any means, but I've enjoyed hunting him as much as any young dog since Lobo.

Hoss handles like a dream. I can heel him off the tree and heel him all the way back to the truck, he handles so well that my 6 year old grandson Owen can lead him to the truck.

Hoss won't be 2 until May of this year. I have a litter of pups off of him now. We are looking forward to seeing them in the woods this Fall.

Thanks Nick.

Most of them were taken with a Canon Rebel T3 along with a Canon Speedlite 430EX II flash. I also have a Canon 7d, but I try not to carry it in the woods with me. The Mrs may shoot me if she found out I took it coon hunting.

If you wanted a pup off of Hoss don't pass up this litter, they should be some really nice ones.

I took Hoss to a RQE Saturday night and was proud of how we done, just came up a little short. First drop he was split from others about 50 yards and held his pressure, coons were seen in both trees, next drop all dogs struck with two peeling off and getting treed while Hoss was working a ruff track, after the five we went to those dogs and Hoss came in after we arrived and a coon was seen so we collected a little minus there that in the end was why he didn't win. Next turn out he was first and first on a den, then last track was again first and first on a coon seen but the winner of the cast covered him. Not to bad for a dog that isn't two yet, we will keep working him and putting him in some more hunts later on. Hoss is a dog that is fun to hunt, if you would like to watch him go just give us a call.
