3 are fed Purina ProPlan 30/20 chicken and rice. 2 of those have earned it and have done well on it for years the 3rd just because he's being hunted pretty hard but he's told he could be put on the Always Save yellow bag if he stops getting better lol. He just turned a year old.

….With Hard Hunting I will Step up To 24-20 or Higher , All my Babies get Puppy Chow on a Self Feeder been this way last 30 years.

I actually feed Black Gold original formula. For me it's a great food. Dog Chow would keep my dogs fat and slick but not in shape. Black Gold gives them energy and they handle the hot better. About $40 a bag here. Doesn't seem to take as much food. Not sure where it's available.

I like the showtime dog food. I have been selling it to the hog hunters and coyote runners for a few years before I started using it. They all told me how their dogs wouldn't run out of energy on the second or third day like when they fed the other stuff. 24-20 is the most popular at $37.95 per 50# bag. In the off season the 21-12 runs a very close 2nd at $27.95 per 50#. Value pack has a 24-20 that is pretty good but all of my dogs but 1 poop big green piles when on it. I had always liked diamond but showtime maintains their weight better. I do however like diamond puppy over the showtime puppy, they just fatten up good on it.
