Meyers Big Bam Bam

Anyone real familiar with Meyers Big Bam Bam? I was interested in finding something real close to him but not how he did in the breading pen. Who had him last and does anyone know what the pedigree looked like on his stock? Thanks!

We bought several pups out of Bam Bam and none of them were worth the lead we injected into thier veins.

Thanks

Thanks for the input on BamBam's bloodline. From what I have read here, it's not worth the time to track down anything that came out of him. I'll look for something else.

I live about an hour from Doug and drive right by his house everytime I go bear hunting. I never bought a dog from him, but I know and have talked to a lot of guys who have. I don't know anyone here that is still hunting his dogs. I'm not sure if he is still hunting hounds anymore, but I haven't seen him in the woods for a long time.

I have a grandson of Bam Bam... I didn't raise him or breed him.... but I like him and he is catching.... So who knows.... I have shot ton's just like ole Paco's so........? I am a firm believer in good dogs are where you find them so best of luck looking. Just because one strain looks good doesn't mean you will get a good one.... I think it has more to do with who is raising the dog. Remember it isn't about raising the right pup..... you have to raise the pup right!

Bill Schutter

He has some straws of Kowboy and i think Bam Bam, thats the only semen left.
Have had good luck with that line.

He had to get a full time job, so thats why you don't see him around that nowdays. He still has a few hounds, but has cut back. He did buy all of the semen that Doug had left.

Tell Bill hi for me.I always heard Kowboy was a much better reproducer than Bam but I was so disgusted with the Bam Bam stuff I never tried any Kowboy.
