Most of the time he will be by his self, I think he just a coward. Chop mouth tree.
He is an average tree dog, 65 to 80 barks per minute in cool weather, the hotter it is the less barking, I have never seen him chew on the tree he is treed on but if they are any little sapplings close he will bite them off, stay put till he starves to death, he trees mostly with his feet on the tree, no tree jacking, he will sometimes tree with all four feet on the ground. He wouldnt fight, if he is pressured he will just get out of the way set back about 6 or 8 feet with all 4 feet on the ground and stay on the opposite side of the tree from the aggressor. I call him a smart tree dog, most of the time once he is handled on the tree he will shut up and never make another bark, come see for yourself all are welcome, one thing he wont make any slicks, possoms or very few dens, I can count the number of slicks and dens on one hand.
