 starting a dog tips

Any tips on how to train a redbone pup ill be getting orany tips to helpe out on how to shoe my pup when the times right. I'm new to coon hunting and want to make sure I do the properly. I've been to a dog show out near where I live and talked to a few people just wanting pointers and tips from all around. Thanks.
