Boone County WV bear dogs for sale!
Roscoe! 3 year old Weems pure bred plott dog! Been on over 100 bears, will rig and take his own track, used more for catch and hold dog. Nose medium, speed medium, bark is loud. One of the grittiest dogs you will see with a bear. Located in Boone County, WV $1,500.00
Hojo! 3 year old plot/English mix!Been on over 100 bears. Strong nose, bark is loud, speed is medium and his heart won't let him quit just like his 13year old dad that I still hunt! Comes from a well known swamp rooster breed on the English side. Located in Boone County WV $1,200.00!
Both have been good dogs for the type of bear hunting we do I just have to many males in my dog box and to many 2 1/2 year old dogs doing just as good! If anyone knows anything about Boone County, WV these dogs have to learn to scale high walls, very steep mountains, last for long distances of time and bay and hold. Both of these dogs have been in on 10 bear kills in past 3 weeks.
