GRCH Thunderstruck Silver Nugget

Right now I'm just putting the word out there that this guy will be up for stud fall of this year.
We would prefer not to breed him back to any Meeks' females due to his bottom side being a brother/sister Meeks' cross.
Negative Brucellosis test will be required and he will be at stud by private treaty.
He has been doing excellent on both the bench and in the woods and begins competition hunting this month.
We plan on getting him his NITECH degree before we put him up for stud and also plan to finish him to CH this year.
Our goals for him in a long term view are GRNITECH, GRCH from attending large scale events only, CCH, HTX and also a CGC/TDI certificate.
We've owned him since fall 2014 and he has done outstanding with us.
In that time he has (currently) only made one questionable tree which was hollow.
He is bawl on track and tree and a medium hunter, independent and will not run deer. We haven't had him around any other big game yet to say whether he will or won't run any, but I plan to update this as he progresses along as well as get some hunting photos.
So far he has only been entered in one show (2015 Grand American) and won Best Male of Breed
He will make his second nite hunt appearance at the 2015 Winter Classic as well as showing, he will be at South Eastern Walker Days, ACHA Little World, Plott Fest, Saluda Coon Dog Day, English Days, possibly Autumn Oaks and we're hoping to UKC World Show qualify him as well.

congrats and good job, how far out west in nc are you guys, Ive worked in the Bryson City area before on the Nantahala River if I spelled that correctly, beautiful country!

Nugget gained his UKC CH title this evening as well as competing in a treeing contest just for fun. We've never seen him that excited, he was ready to put on a show! He will also be AKC single registered within the next few weeks.

Found out today that Nugget is (as of the March 30th update) the #3 American Leopard Hound in UKC's 2015 Top Ten Bench Show standings! I had no idea we were even in the runnings, let alone #3. As long as we keep it up, looks like we'll be able to compete in an extra class at the Winter Classic next year

Also, official Peach Classic win pictures came back!

Forgot to update this a few weeks ago.

We took him to an April 4th UKC Plott Sectional where he gained his third CH win over a nice group of Plotts.
We also entered him in his first field trial where he got first and first in his heat. He was second and second in the grand final line but he does have 10 points towards FCH now!

Tomorrow (or later on today) we go to our first RQE where hopefully we pick up that fourth CH win.

Win, lose or draw, I couldn't ask for a better dog - he gives us all he's got and at the end of the day that's all that matters!

Have been forgetting to update this for a while! Not a ton of new news but I'm super proud of the things we've done lately!

We've also recently gotten a female with the hopes of breeding them next year.
CH River Ridge Cruella, a black with brindle trim female. Haven't had the chance to hunt her yet but we adore her personality and I can't wait to start showing her.
