Due to the rain we have received which has caused massive flooding, road closures, etc.. and the incoming weather we are cancelling the March 7th hunt. Sorry for anyone who had made plans to attend and look forward to seeing you at our April hunts.

can you really cancel a hunt with 5 days left before a hunt?

Talked to Allen this evening and we agreed it was the best thing to do. The county has already closed several roads in the county due to three and four feet of water across roads. The club itself is less than 1/4 mile from the river. 99.9% of the running grounds couldn't be accessed even if we were to hold the trial. My farm for instance has over a foot of water in the lower fields. Weather service said flooding is as bad as it has been since 1984. The Kentucky and Red Rivers are still rising and haven't crested so it will be worse before it gets better.

We also have more bad weather due in tonight and tommorrow. Check this link out this is in town out here it's worse.
