If a picture is worth a thousand words.... What is hours of video worth????

In this modern age of high speed internet the size of our world is rapidly shrinking. The great divides of time and space can easily be shrunk. For anybody that has ever wanted to see my dogs go but didn't want to drive to the middle of Egypt South Dakota to do it. I have come up with a solution...
I will be posting lots of videos of my dogs and hunts on my Facebook page Leopards Unleashed. I filmed everything either with my phone or a $200 GoPro. I will be posting lots of video that shows the entire hunt from the tailgate to the tree. Some of these videos get a little visually boring (standing in the dark listening to dogs) but crank the volume and get to know my dogs. See how they hunt, how they handle, what they sound like striking, trailing, locating and treeing game.

I sure hope I don't ruin the breed and turn them in to spotted Walkers ..... I just wanted to show, what I have always been saying, you can have it all in one dog. You can have a dog that can be very successful in competition as well as be a complete pleasure to hunt and live with for the rest of the week. The two are not mutually exclusive, contrary to popular opinion. I got tired of all the haters making false assumptions about dogs they have never seen (hot nosed, fly through the country, slick treeing, straight lining etc. etc...) and very few seemed to believe me when I talked, so I just figured instead of telling it, I would show it. Anybody can do it, it's not hard..... Buy a $200 GoPro, turn it on and go hunting. All of the editing software is free and it only takes a few minutes to upload 30 minutes of video. I sure would like to see videos of other people's dogs doing their thing. The video I posted here just scratches the surface. I have over 2 hours of video uploaded so far and as I learn more about how to use the camera etc. the production value just gets better and better. I hope everyone enjoys them. I know I sure had fun making them.

Man, I was worn slap out by the end of that video. That was as real as it gets and very enjoyable. Got to say, I liked the possum ass dog part the most. Lol !
Got to know though, did you find your pistol ?

Yeah I found it. I had to retrace my footsteps in the snow from half of the night, but I found it. When I fell it ripped the belt loop on the holster in half. I'll post a pic later. That's the 3rd time I have lost and recovered my pistol while coonhunting. The first one I lost was an antique Smith and Wesson revolver my Grandad handed down to me. It took me two days with a metal detector to find that one in the snow. After that I decided it was time to retire that sentimental weapon. The other time I lost one was in the attic of an old egg laying operation building. I crawled around in blow in insulation up there for quite awhile but eventually my efforts paid off. Be sure to check out some of my other videos I get better at filming and running the camera the more I try so the videos aren't as shakey.
