1970’s or early 80’s

I’m looking to see if anyone can help me with some info on a blue dog my dad owned back in the early 80’s. He has lost the papers, and I’m wanting to learn what his bloodline went back too. I’m pretty sure the sire’s name was either Corn Hollow Blue Thunder, or Corn Hollow Blue Cloud. Anyone with any info. Would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If I remember right Corn Hollow Blue Thunder was out of Brush Creek Blue and Ohio Valley Blue April who was out of Hammer II and Ohio Valley Blue Kate. That was a long time ago. Lol.

I wonder if the mother of your Dads dog was Jude?

I’m not sure, we have lost his papers. I’d like to find a young dog, or pup that’s out of that bloodline. He was the best hound I’ve ever hunted with. My dad was probably went through a 1000 dogs trying to find another one like him. Lol

Almost impossible to find that mixture of blood now and if so it is several generations back. Me and my Dad bred off of that mixture of blood for years and it produced a lot of coon dogs. Dogs in that pedigree were some of the foundation blood that Dad had and then we used for several generations.
