Garmin Alpha 200/300, the Pros & Cons

Buddy of mine is about to jump from radio telemetry to the Garmin Alpha or the latest and greatest whatever that might be with Garmin…

I have the Alpha 100 and I told him I really like it…it is dependable enough I shelved my radio telemetry a few years back…

I just don’t know what to tell the old man what to get on account I haven’t been around the alpha 200 and 300…

What is the range on each?

What is the battery life on each?

Are the easy to use?

Are they dependable?

Thanks for any help I can get…

Ive had the 100 ,200 ,and now the 300.Tell him to spend the mony and get the 300.It has the longest battery life and a few improvements of the 200.The 300 has a brighter screen,my huntmap sd card works better, and when the sreen time times out you double tap the screen to turn the screen back on where with the 200 you have to press the on - off button to turn the screen back on.That bugged me with the 200.Dont try to save a little money buying a 100 or 200,get the 300.Outdoor Dog Supply has a good video on their site or on you tube.Outdoor Dog Supply is a good place to do buissiness.
