 Cast results?

Question
Our club held a hunt and had a registered division dog entered into the nt ch casts and won with 600+ . I realize they are screwed outta their win but the question is the next high scored dog in the cast had 300+ does he become the winner with a cast win or is the whole cast a wash and nobody receives a cast win?
